She was truly fantastic, looks stunning, great band, amazing purple shoes! LOVE LOVE LOVE her.

She sang live, she made jokes, really sexy drummer and guitarist. Shame about the chavs present in standing...

The last time I saw her was with some free ITunes festival tickets- you could tell most people were only there because it was free. At least last night she had a lots of real fans there.

Ps. One of her new songs on the album is about hating dieting, the gym and men should love you even if you have Cellulite! (which they should!!!!) It was a brilliant track!

Just wondering, anyone know why Upside Down is at #43 on iTunes? Was it on Strictly or something?

And the album is #12??? Wow.

Yeah that is weird

That's good to see yet another surge

Just saw on Youtube, she performed Upside Down on Strictly, with all the dancers on the dance floor too. They didn't show much of her but she sang well. Great boost for the album.

I love upside down. I am glad she did that song. Her second best single next to New york

She must have a slight partnership with strictly as Upside down was used a promo song for Strictly before it began

Well she appeals to a older audience so thats probably why they used her alot on the program. When I went to her concert, a large percentage were mums and dads and even older, which is great!

Personally, I'd say Stone Cold is her best single and then Upside Down.

I saw her at a festival in Ireland this year.

She was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

I love her personality.
Sort of like GaGa before she turned into a pretentious muppet.

Fingers crossed album 2 does as well as her first. I think its going to be amazing. Shes just got to release it at the right time, get promotion in the right places and shes sorted. She could even get number 1, if shes lucky.

Which is exactly why she was featured

I agree
She could easily do an amy winehouse. First album does ok. No fuss. But then explodes majorly with album 2. I think Paloma could do that. But of course whether she will is a different thing,

I think Paloma is more consistant though. I.e. I don't think Paloma would do an album..have a 3/4 year gap then another album. Ofcourse Amy has had the strain of her personal life being exposed to a certain agree which is always controversial but I think Paloma is solely music (oh and acting in the bits she does).

I wasn't talking about in that way. I was talking about how she could explode with album 2. Personal life and having a big gap never even crossed my mind.

Finally bought her album in town yesterday. Love it.

Her Strictly appearance finally made me bite the bullet and buy. The first full album I've bought in years.

Her album isn't even in the top 40 in the mid-weeks big bummer!

It would have been nice if the Strickly performance had boosted sales, but I didn't expect it to. The majority of people who would buy the album would have brought it over the 15 months since release.

On a positive for you though, the album has spent 465 consecutive days in the Amazon Top 100 and after those 465 days is still #42.

First time posting in this thread (I think), but love Paloma. Her music is great and she's so sweet. She was ever so kind enough to write me a letter in reply to my fanmail to her earlier this year, aswell as include an autograph and some random holiday snaps of herself.

Do we have idea when next year she will be dropping album 2?

No idea when album 2 will be out, I was expecting a January release but that doesn't seem likely now. I'd put my money on March/April, she must be just finishing the album off now as shes already performed some new songs on her tour. Come on Paloma, don't keep us waiting!

Seems like we could have a tour/album soon, according to this interview.

"The singer, rarely seen without eight-inch-high heels and never knowingly understated, has been putting the finishing touches to her latest tour."

I hope so. I love Paloma Faith. I saw her last tour. An amazing woman live. Such class as well.

I know, right?
You would think if she's nearly finished that we would know more.

If anyone is interested, I've published a review I did of her album a while ago (note it misses Smoke and & Mirrors on the singles list)
