Why did you miss out Smokes & Mirrors?
Great review. Just disagree with the Duffy meets Amy winehouse comment though. I would say she has a slight Norah Jones vibe about her.
Because I wrote the review before Smoke and Mirrors was released as a single and I wasn't really into the song until I saw it live and then loved it.

Paloma, love your music, but please refrain from saying rubbish like you saw a leprechaun in Dublin. It is very cringey for your Irish fans.

It's been confirmed she's going to be a mentor on The Voice, should be good I imagine she'll be firm but she'll keep the contestants in high spirits
What i love about Paloma mentoring is her backround Actress, Magicians Assistant, And damn good musician and she will bring a huge amount to the table

Plus there's audio below of her new single 'Picking Up The Pieces'. Sounds good on first hearing.
That album cover is certainly eyecatching with Paloma draped in that red dress; and those macaws.

Hoping Picking Up the Pieces will be her first top 10 single! It's odd she hasn't had one now I think about it

I agree and thought 'new york' was a top 10 single but found out it just missed the top 10 sadly. I think this could go top 10 as it did excellently on pre orders and 'the voice' performance will boost sales.

New York is just a brilliant song and it was indeed much better than most songs in the top 10 the few weeks it was in the top 20, yeah though The Voice performance will prove vital

It's #25 now which is not bad at all (I don't know about you but I have not heard this on the radio or seen the video on TV once!). Good head start, even better after 'the voice'.

I was thinking there must of been some sort of airplay as the EP on itunes pre-order was doing well.

Yeah that was a nice performance btw, I like her hair at the moment
And the EP is at #5 so hopefully this will give a top 20 debut at best but hopefully she can push top 10
