Unlocking Blackberrys

Just wondered if anybody knows if it is actually possible to unlock a Blackberry Curve 8900? Is it possible if i was to take it to a mobile phone shop, not one they havent figured out how to do yet is it?

Any help would be appreciated a lot!

Hi Messiah Type,

I unlocked mine via an ebay seller. Have a quick search (search something like Blackberry 8900 unlock) and find a reputable seller that unlocks via codes (this means you will find your IMEI number and send this to the seller), then they should email you back with the instructions and code itself.
