There are so many funny/spot on posts around on here at the moment, particularly in response to the all vitriol and hysteria surrounding Alesha that I thought people might like the chance to nominate their post of the day!

It might be a long post that you think describes a situation perfectly (and saves you typing ), or it might be a one liner that just captures the moment - you decide!

Please don't use this thread to continue discussing the subject that triggered the nominated post in the first place as it will just bung up this thread!

For me the day is still young, so I will nominate my post of the day from yesterday!

These people have my pity more than anything else.”

And this one which would get an honourable mention from me!

PS Your nomination doesn't have to be about the Alesha debate btw!

Great idea, Buddy!

Here's my fave. It's actually from the 19th, hope I don't get disqualified!

It's in response to a post asking if Darren wears a wig

One of my recent favourites from the Not an Appreciation Thread. In response to a poster suggesting that Ian and Jade haven't gelled yet.

Thus one from yesterday in the "272 complaints" thread.

Thanks Buddy

but here is one from today- from the un-appreciation thread, discussing Brendan and Lisa's show-dance

Lisa looked like she wasnt sure whether to cry or have an orgasm -I suppose a lot of women feel like that with Brendan.”

Great thread idea.

Can someone tell me how to quote from another thread please? I couldn't find instructions anywhere.

It has changed (it used to be much easier), so what you have to do is -

Go to the thread that contains the post you want to nominate
Click on the Quote button in the post
Select and copy the information that should then be in the Reply box
Find your way back to this thread
Click on the Reply button and paste the post you want to nominate
