Good evening, and welcome to Crimewatch.

This month we are asking you to keep a lookout for a particularly scary character, seen at large last Friday and Saturday. Witnesses say he is tall, well muscled, with short, dark hair and an ego. He is known to use the alias “Rav”. He was last seen wearing extremely tight trousers and too many sequins.

Police are extremely keen to speak to him in connection with the murder of a Tango on Friday, and are very concerned for the safety of his red-headed accomplice. Rav is known to be very strong and can crush a woman with his bare hands.

His last known whereabouts was the ITT studios on Tuesday, where he was quite visibly green with anger. It appears that he narrowly escaped capture on Saturday night by conning his way into the trust of an old aged pensioner called Len.

Police say he is a danger the viewing public and should not be approached. Anyone with any information should call the BBC Voting Line and vote for Joe.

That’s all for tonight’s program, and don’t forget….. tango abuse is rarer than you think, so don’t have nightmares.

Goodnight.”

This gets my vote for today! Especially It appears that he narrowly escaped capture on Saturday night by conning his way into the trust of an old aged pensioner called Len.

From the "If not Alesha or Arlene - who would YOU have picked" thread, posted by Winehouse:

Yes, I agree with Myleene Klass too.

A really excellent choice in my opinion.

Dynamic personality and rich incisive and always cutting comments that would really add a lot to the show.

And, I believe, she is currently studying for a degree in astronomy, therefore her eyesight must be pretty good too.

We need more Myleene on the box. This talent must not be allowed to go to waste.

After all, she's tried just about everything else, so why not dancing judge.

In fact let's go all the way and totally rebrand the show as 'Myleene's Dancing With The Stars Through The End Of A Very Powerful Telescope.'

Yes, that could work.[/quote]

Got to nominate this one from the 'Let's Help the Judges' thread suggesting puns on the celebs' names that the judges might use!

My first official contribution to this thread and I nominate the following post:

Anybody going in for over-analysis of why she has bemoaned her low tango scores (and let's not forget, she did go first, which is always a bad spot because you're setting the standard of the evening) is going to come unstuck, because they're trying to see things that aren't there.

Natalie's been true to herself through all the flak about her weight and I doubt a few people misinterpreting her genuine disappointment as arrogance will bother her.”

My favourite is Post # 40 in the SCD thread entitled 'Spelling' which has unfortunaqtely been closed by the powers that be.

I always thought it was just a joke when actors said people get them confused with the characters they play!

No, not at all Sid, a nomination doesn't have to be funny.

Posted by Three Left Feet on Ricky and Natalie thread

Never mind the puppy dog look. I had to wrestle the phone off Mrs Three Left Feet on Saturday to ensure our vote went to Tuffers and not Ricky.

I've got nothing against Ricky. In fact, he has nothing going for him except that he's good looking, got a great body, is a great mover and seems like a really nice guy. Mrs T-L-F was temporarily overcome with sympathy in the face of such disadvantages and wanted to vote for him.

I had to tutor her that any man who can bowl Engalnd to victory in an Ashes test match (Oval 1997) is clearly more deserving of our vote than a soap star, even from the mighty Hollyoaks. Dancing skills are a complete irrelevance IMHO

A thread to mock people/views you don't like? Lovely. You should do a better job of hiding it next time.

Or maybe you should try and read the thread properly? Most of the choices have been posts people have found witty and extremely funny, Sid's gone for a couple that he/she liked the sentiment behind and found well written - I've yet to see anyone mocking anyone's views on here.

I havent posted anything that mocks the original poster in fact quite the opposite I have put posts that I think are witty or clever and would be devastated if the original poster thinks I am mocking them which is not the intention of this thread I am sure.
