This post on the Ricky Whittle <erm> manhood thread, just for the fact it was the posters first post on distinctive topic.

Trolldom at it's best

What a classic first post!

I nominate this from the Natalie Cassidy: Arrogant? thread

It has been happening for weeks and I when first mentioned it I think people thought I was mad, but it is happening a lot now. I think it is a capacity thing as it started not long after DS made an announcement about the board being slow especially when BB was on and I think that was in August!

Hmm, interesting.

I remember a couple of years ago people used to get busy messages, which I always seem to have avoided. This invisible post nonsense is a little bit annoying though - there was a whole invisible thread earlier!

I hope it'll be fixed at some point...

When posts become invisible, one workaround is to click reply, and then move down the page and read the Topic Review (Newest First) and the missing post is there without you needing to type in reply.

I also dont like the whiff of a cheat about him.....and they are doing Salsa this week and although he denied the other training we know for definate he had Salsa training with Darrens brother. I dont expect him to think or say he is in the same league as Joe/Jo but to sit there in the Tesspitt and say 'I made load of mistakes' when he had got 9s was cocky .....he should have just said 'I was pleased with how it went and the score'.

I expect if the public dont take to him and he gets into the dance off in the future that he will be constantly saved by the judges though who seem to think he is the second coming of Gene Kelly.

I am obviously not as indifferent to him as I thought !!!”

I nominate this one from our lovely Jan

I found myself nodding along vigorously and laughing out loud throughout.

And mine.

It's like she's in my head!

Good old Jan - we shouldn't even bother turning up on DS and just let her type our thoughts for us

I too agree with a lot of what Jan says. I also think Cally's Mum is usually spot on so with my pink sparkly tin hat on, I'm nominating this post!

It was something that happened weeks ago, was between two people - one of whom forgave the other and the other of whom has apologised to the person involved - why all and sundry have since become so involved, and why there has been this mass outrage on behalf of someone else over something that didn't happen to those who were expressing it, and who weren't even present at the time, I have no idea.

Whoever sold that story - I hope they're proud of themselves. Talk about thirty pieces of silver (or however much it was ). They have made a mockery of the show - or should I say, they have enabled the Mail (which is never slow to target the BBC or any of its employees with any ammunition it can get a hold of) and the general public to do so.

This whole debacle has put me in mind of those baying crowds who allegedly used to gather at the foot of the guillotine and cheer as the heads of the gentry and their children (however young they were), their servants and anyone connected with them rolled into the tumbrels.

I used to wonder about the mentality of such people - now I remember. It's a part of human nature to villify people. (It's one of the reasons I prefer animals. At least when they are cruel to their prey they do it because they know no better. We're supposed to be the 'intelligent' species!)

I don't read the bible but if I did I would say 'let him without sin cast the first stone'. Dear god, certain sections of the public (and the media) have been acting as if they are perfect and have never done anything stupid. Yes, Anton was stupid. Yes, he admitted to that. But to villify the man for something that happened weeks ago in private between two people which has been forgiven and forgotten - to call for his sacking ... this has all made me feel quite nauseated and almost put me off watching SCD completely. Not because of what Anton may or may have said, but the reaction from all those who were treating him as if he had murdered a baby or killed a kitten. Yes, what he said had racist connotations and he was an idiot but he had already apologised. He has now apologised again. In public - which he shouldn't have had to do because it was none of our business. We weren't there. It had nothing to do with us and quite frankly, all this mass outrage weeks after an event when the parties involved have forgiven and forgotten is becoming tiresome.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. I hope that things die down now and we can get back to what is important - the show.

As for the rest of ITT, can I just say how much I'm loving Claudia more and more? She just cracks me up. I love how she got all embarrassed and shocked for Jo and how she called James 'grumpy' (when he clearly wasn't!).

I quite liked the Friday panel ... LOVED the dress Jo's wearing. Not sure if I'm going to like Jade's - not a fan of ruffles!

And speaking of clothes - or lack thereof ... what possessed Natalie to wear a boob tube for dance practice? I really did wonder for a moment there if we were going to get flashed ...

I return you to your normal programming - I'm off back to lurking again. These boards have become a bit too scary ....”

THAT has to be THE post of the day - brilliant, I agree with everything

Re the comments about Anton - Monty Python and the Life of Brian "stoning" scene comes to mind *quickly dons pink sparkly hat*

Give the guy a break. If he is going to dance in the Final in a thong then he is concerned about buying a thong of adequate size.

Didnt Mark Foster threaten to do a dance in swimming briefs if he got to the final? Methinks he wasnt lambasted as much as Ricky Whittle has been on here.

Although, I LOVED the Tina Sparkle comment!
