I'm a big fan. Really liked the alubm 'Overpowered'. I have no idea if she's releasing new material anytime soon but I know she's a great unknown artist wh more people should try.
yeah loved the album, some great catchy punchy tunes on there, think there was a thread around already.

Lots of great Roisin Murphy news recently! She has both a baby and a new single on the way. Apparently it's going to be called "Demon Lover" (the single, not the baby), and she's described it as "a big funky house track. It's a souped-up full on garage tune". Also, Roisin has stated that her 3rd album will be "quite gritty, it has a slightly London sound to it, it's a bit more urban and bass-ey than Overpowered."
She actually previewed some of her new material recently at the SEone club in London, and some of that set has made it's way onto youtube:

Love what I'm hearing so far! In particular, the second song on the second link (about 5mins in..) sounds totally SAVAGE!!! (..."I don't have to feel your charm-charm-charm-charm, you don't have to break my arm...") I seriously can't wait for the album now.
