Wi-fi Blu Ray
Can wi-fi on Blu Ray do anything interesting? I heard it can do internet radio but not figured mine out yet.
No chance of Iplayer or internet streaming? What else can Blu Ray do apart from special features?

What Blu-Ray machines have WiFi? Not heard of any, not that that means they don't exist of course. Know of plenty that have ethernet to connect to a home network via wire though.
Just curious to know is all....

Profile 2 players have Ethernet capability for BD Live and firmware updates. Some like the Samsung below with a recent firmware update allow you to access YouTube.
Some including the current Samsung's have a optional Wi-Fi adapter if you don't want to use an Ethernet cable. My old Kiss DP-500 DVD player has an Ethernet port to allow access to Internet (Web) radio. Other models also had Wi-Fi. |
