Leaving tmobile
Can someone tell me if this is correct,
in order for us to terminate your contract you have to call us so we can check your personal details and make sure the request is from the account holder. The need to call us to end your contract is included in your terms and conditions and your 30 days? notice can only begin once we?ve received your call and verified you as the account holder. Until then your contract with us will stay in place and you?ll still be charged as normal, so please call us as soon as you can. If you require a PAC to transfer your number you're not required to give 30 days notice you just need to call on the last day of your commitment to request this. |

Sounds right to me. They would need to make sure that you are the account holder. You'd be very pissed off if someone else just ended your contract without your knowledge wouldn't you?
If you request a MAC at the same time, your contract will end after 30 days OR when you use the code with a new provider, which ever comes first. Either way you will have to pay for the 30 days notice, so you may as well use the MAC with 2 working days left on the contract - that way you will still get the benefit of any minutes/texts left to use. |

I phoned them up for clarification, was told to phone them on the last day of contract and they will give me the pac then, when i use it i will be charged pro rata until the number is ported out, i find this odd as it means your not giving 30 days notice to end, so will see how it goes

You would give 30 days if you wanted the number to end, however as it only takes 2 days to port out, your PAC does not require you to give the notice.
