I've just bought a Toshiba 32AV615DB.

The manual is, to put it mildly, thin.

I've had a browse around for a decent one online without success. Anyone have any suggestions ?

TIA

That was one of the sites I tried, can't find it there OR on the Toshiba site.

I recently bought a new telly. Same make as my old one.

Old manual was half an inch thick (OK it was ten languages but you get the idea)
New "manual", a couple of sides of A4.

The real manual was actually on the CD that was stuffed in the box. So instead of LG wasting a forest it was up to the user to print out the manual or squint at a computer screen.

Mind you the TV itself has a basic manual available on screen that tells you most of the main operations you are likely to use day to day.

Bit of a change from the first telly I ever saw. It had just two controls. One to select BBC or ITV and one for volume. Even the two sheets of A4 I got with my new set would have been overkill for that

I found my last two tv's a quite foolproof?

Both have gone through the motions when first plugged in to scan channels and assign them. I think I might have referred to the manual once to change the source onscreen labels.

its strange

you get all sorts of settings with a tv nowadays - you need to know what they are supposed to do

just for stuff like preventing image burn etc, and recommendations for watching 4:3 pics on a widescreen

indeed just checked mine

56 pages printed, and on a CD
oldish Hitachi 42PD7200

sections are

item description etc
installation instructions and connectivity
operating instructions (21 pages)
other instructions
troubleshooting
specs

The customer instruction book (which is presumably what you already have) is available for download from Toshiba, and is only 14 pages.

The front page clearly points you to a website where you can download the full 43 page instruction book.
