The Scott James Appreciation Thread

I couldnt find a thread so I thought I'd start one

Well done to Scott I say, and good luck to him I just saw his first audition and thought he had a really good voice. Also I've seen other videos of him singing Streets Of London and Bring Him Home, and he's very good.

I have mild AS traits I think (if not actual AS like Scott does) I'm not sure, so I can identify with him.
I hope he does well

Scott's amazing.

I have Asperger Syndrome myself, hence my username, and I can identify with him as well. It must be difficult for 'normal' people to get up on that stage in front of all those people, but for someone with AS it would be even more difficult. It's great that he wants to, as he said in his audition, break the stereotypical images of autistic people.

He's got an amazing voice and should do really well.

I'm so cynical when it comes to The X Factor and its exploitation of people's backgrounds... but I was very moved by Scott's audition. That recording of BHH on YouTube is sensational

He's my favourite auditionee this year at the moment!

BHH is excellent and I also like Streets of London - very nice interpretation of the Ralph McTell classic
I wonder what people would say if I entered? I probably need more training

I'm in

To able to do what he did after being isolated for such a long time AND to come out of it with that amount of talent, that's The X Factor if anything.
I'm really looking forward to Boot Camp and see how he did there.

BHH was sensational I agree (puts Jamie Pugh to shame). Hope he gets to sing it on the show

He's a very talented young man

its unfortunate that guy has been put out i think he has a brilliant voice and is 10 times the singer most of the last 24 are. I'm sure he'll do well though best of luck Scott.....

He is better than some of those who were put through but I did wonder whether they would be able to completely overlook his condition.

Scott sent me a very kind message on YouTube yesterday and said thankyou for my comments - very nice of him He said perhaps XF or BGT would like to hear from me when I told him about my recitals
