sony kdl52v550, should i purchase?

hi,was about to purchase this from dixons today for £1267,but thought i would wait and get some informed opinions from you lot

Don't order anything without watching it in a setting similar to, or actually at, your home where you can check it out in situ to see what it sounds like.

Audition. Do you like the picture AND sound (if you intend using the internal speakers)?

If yes or no then you know the answer to your question.

you would be better off getting something in the W or Z range

maybe downsize the TV to a 46 if you are worried about the price, remember a 52" is going to be huge, and you need to have a massive room to use it properly
