What an utter yawn in the history of the american chart.

Boring. BEP are so summer of 09. It's like or almost autumn now.

Who is even buying that crap? Not that I particularly care about the charts, but such an annoying tune being on top of the charts for so long? People aren't sick of it yet?

Personally, i think it's impossible for loads of people to still buy the same song after a couple of months.

I can see why albums stay longer because not everyone likes albums straight away and usually wait after a couple of singles are released.

Doesn't the American charts count radio airplay as well though? this could be why, its still a track thats heard loads on the radio.

Yes, radio airplay does count in the Billboard Hot 100, unlike the UK Charts.

i am finding the whole BEP raid on the charts very suspicious myself, i find it very hard to believe that for the last four months two songs that are not even that good have been the most successful of the weak.

The only real song now that could knock them OFF is empire state of mind!
If that fails all hope is lost

It must be fixed

Because the world loves the BEPs!

People still buy songs whenever, just because it has been out for a while, doesn't matter! It has sold nearly 3 million downloads, and there are over 240 million people in America...go figure!

They could be toppled next week, as they are no.2 on airplay now, so they are falling! But Jay Sean is the nearest competition for next week, cos the BEPs will sell more than him, but he will be ahead on airplay. I think they will hang on tho, just...but the next week the competition is on....THEY WILL BE TOPPLED!

However the faster gainer now is Jay Z and co with RTT!

Not a threat at all so far off the pace now on iTunes and airplay!

It will be Jay Sean or RTT which knocks them off, more likely the former!

I guess #2 will be Jay's peak
Tryed the BEST he could without that much publicity

Hasnt Featured on Jay Leno, Letterman, Ellen
Jay Z, BEP have both been on these shows and also have TV Adverts advertising their music

Tbh Miley is the only one who has been robbed of a no.1!

I still think he has a chance...but I hope he doesnt make it....it would be abit embarrassing that the no.6 downloaded song was billboard no.1 tbh!

For three weeks Jay had been #2 on Billboard Hot 100

On the other hand Jay has been doing well in the
New Zealand charts
Canadian Charts

On the other hand Miley is only well known around the world
for her Hannah Montana show Disney

The whole of the bloody U.S. must own a damn copy of this song. Do they buy multiple copies or what? This whole BEP obsession is very boring now

3rd Single in US, UK, Europe and OZ is confirmed as 'Meet me Halfway'

Should of been 'Rock your Body' or 'Missing You'
