Radio 1 confirmed it earlier today. if i heard rightly they also said they would play the new version of About A Girl with Jade's vocals. not sure about that though.

i just wonder how much they will discuss (and how much Scott will ask them about) the obvious, or whether they'll avoid all that and just talk about the new album, video shoot etc.

I like Scott Mills, but he's too nice to ask them about the real truth behind the breakdown of the band. They should have gone on Moyles's show!

lol, they can hardly go on the show and not talk about all the recent events. I mean they would have to explain how Jade is there at least.

Whilst I hope they play the new version, it might be too soon to have a finished master. I also think their interview will be pre-recorded.

It is a massive shame the way things have turned out for them but I'm sad so many are just not regarding Heidi as a Sugababe. 6 albums tell me she is. Far more than Siobhan ever was.

Well, to be fair to Heidi she was there for every single number one and has been in the band far longer than Mutya and Siobhan. She's been there for all the ups and downs. Yes, she wasn't an original, but then again nobody forced Siobhan to leave!

Well, I don't really believe that. It's just Siobhan's word against Keisha though, isn't it? Nobody knows what really went on.

No. Heidi sang all but 4 of their singles and co-wrote a few of their songs... She has more right to the Sugababes name then Siobhan and even Mutya. She is the 2nd longest serving Sugababe... give her some credit!

The Sun says that Jade is still in L.A., so will they be speaking to her on the phone?

And I hope they play the new version of "About a girl"

She always has and always will be a sugababes replacement.

Now the whole band is just replacements, (In the case of Amelle and Jade, unworthy replacements)

Amelle and Heidi appear to have brought it on themselves, they wanted rid of Keisha but ditched a lot of fans in the process.

Karma is being a bigger bitch to them than Keisha ever was.

No she doesn't, she didn't start the band, without them there wouldn't have been a Sugababes for Heidi to join so Mutya and Siobhan have much more right to the name regardless of how long they were around for.

And without a record label, the group's management and music producers there wouldn't be any Sugababes. Heidi may not have been an original, but she is a Sugababe and a part of the success of the Sugababes. She has earned her stripes so to speak.being in a "vocal harmony group" (not a band, a band play instruments) for 8 years deserves some merit and recognition, and she certainly has more right to being a 'babe as Donaghy and Mutley given the time she has been a part of said group.

But I suppose you can't argue logically with Keisha fans who only saw Keisha as being the only Sugababe.

It would appear as this is the strongest Sugababes line-up yet, and certainly a better looking one.

you can't have scary spice in a group with members of girls aloud replacing vic b, mel c, baby, gerrie and call it the "spice girls"...its just not the same

at the end of the day sugababes had a "SOUND", which made them stand out...Mutya and Keisha were the main components in keeping this sound alive...

these 3 should have just started a new band instead of the sugababes thing, it wil backfire sooner or later..

So what you are saying is that Heidi, who has been in the group or 8 years, with many number 1's under her belt under the group doesn't have the "sound"? They sing, thats it. The "sound" comes from the engineers and music producers. Granted they had a unique sound back in 2001/02, but since then they've evolved, changed labels and in some cases grew up and changed their sound so that now it's indistinquishable from the other girl groups out there.

So I really don't see what the fuss is about?

I just heard Jade's version and it's weird, but then I am used to the Keisha version.

Heidi came across sincere, as for that other one... "can't be arsed" what a fool.

Yep Heidi did very well and answered eveything put to her. All this interview confirmed to me is what I already suspected. Keisha caused mass problems and they had to get rid to save the band and this new deal. Otherwise they would have lost far too much money.

Great to hear the new album is getting even more new material too. I really think it needs to be renamed though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O8O062_t78 The Jade version of About A Girl, if anyone missed it.

I think I prefer the original Keisha version, but I'm quite impressed either way. It doesn't sound TOO weird, and Sugababes 4.0 could work out well, in my opinion.

Thank you!

EDIT: I prefer it with Keisha. Not sure with Jade in the song.

I prefer the Jade version tbh. Works better than I expected it to. Proves to me Keisha's voice was too forced. Jade's flows with ease.
