A good Day/Night moisturiser?
I've been using Nivea Beauty Boost Day and Night moisturisers for about 5 years now, and found them to be fab. The night one softens your skin nicely overnight, and the day one acts as a kind of light natural foundation during the day. Unfortunately, though, it seems to be one of those products that they've stopped making: I haven't been able to find any for months in Boots or Sainsburys, both of which used to stock it reliably. I was therefore wondering if anyone here could recommend any alternative products?

Simple Replenishing Moisturiser recently beat creams costing 10-20 times the price in a blind testing by one of the newspapers/magazines (sorry, can't remember which one). I've used it and really liked it. It makes your skin feel smooth, elastic and plumped. It doesn't have any colour to it, but it does have an SPF so is a great day cream and readily available in Superdrug, supermarkets, etc. And it costs less than £3. Bargain!

I don't know about night creams, but I use stuff from the Simple range for my moisturiser during the day, wonderful cream.

I'm another one that'd go with Simple all the time. I use the Cleanser, Toner and Moisturiser and my skin is lovely and soft!

Just popping in to say thanks for the Simple Moisturiser recommendations. I bought some earlier in the week, and tried it for the first time today; so far, so good.
Only one small grumble is that it doesn't have sun protection in it, but my previous product was only SPF 8, and I stay out of the sun anyway, so I don't think that'll affect me too much. As a foundation alternative, it's just as good a Beauty Boost, and not as shiny, which is a plus. Ta again, sandie. |

Glad you like it. Their Replenishing moisturiser does have UV filters, btw.
