Who here loves JLS's new song?
I heard it last night and it's been in my head all day. It's fantastic. It's just so american and so grown up.
I just love it. Beat again was a pure cheese fest. Bring on the album. |

It's awful. Beat Again was at least current but their new one is so dated and not in a good way.

"Beat Again" was ok, but "Everybody in love" is great! I think the video is really good, too

VERY VERY 90s its like going back in time to the days when boybands ruled the charts, the song and video combined make me think of a hybrid between Blue's vocal style and early Backstreet Boys videos.
I did have to laugh when Paul O Grady (I think it was him) introduced them as "Britain's Biggest Boyband!" surely they are the only 'boyband' ![]() Saying that though they proved there was a gap in the market for a boyband and they filled it admirably with very devoted fans so good luck to them but this single is just too sugary for me, and reminds me when I was teen and I swooned at the same sort of sugary lyrics ![]() I'm not sure how the OP can think this is some kind of step up in being grown up and non cheesy with lyrics like " I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, what else could it be, missing you so deep," |

LOVE it. so sooo retro, but like it or not, you'll be singing it - so catchy!
best dance move ever - the one where they do the 'sleep' part. a-mazing choreography there

Haven't heard it. What's it called? Anyone got a link? Loved Beat Again.
Edit: Sorry, just noticed the title is a few posts up! |

I know JR rotem produced this. I love the song, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of theirs. I prefer it to Beat Again because the voices aren't as robot-like and there's no embarrassingly bad lines about funerals. I hate the sleep move in the video though; it's something a little kid would do

I wish they would experiment more with their videos. The video for Beat Again was so bland, and the new one isn't much better either.

I've heard that Oritsé has written a few for the album (not sure about the other 3), but they work with song writers too. I don't think that the boys wrote this one though.

Well every artist works with songwriters, even if that Artist writes their own songs as well.

yeah i instantly thought 90's American when i first heard it. i don't like it personally. everything about it is incredibly cheesy!
i just don't like how JLS seem to be aimed at young teenagers - the songs, lyrics, the dancing, image etc.. ok they are fairly young lads but they're not kids. they could of gone with a more mature style and image, but no, they've taken the easy route. |

It would be difficult to pick out their sound from any other over-produced boy band.
They're playing it very safe, that's for sure. |

JLS really remind me of Blue.
I just saw like a minute of the video and the sleep thing is just pure cheese. I like this song, I really detested Beat Again only because the first line really put me off the song; something about a doctor and not being able to live. |
