slightly

about straightening it, thanks for that. i've tried that, and at the moment it obv aint long enough. What is the length of it (layered, feathered?) How does he get it to look so shiny, and smooth and it looks completely the opposite of "clumpy" or "unmanageable"

Any tips on products or anything

I don't really like that second hairstyle, that's just my opinion. I think you should stick to what you already have. Whatever you do, don't get it layered, I got mine layered and I regret it so much. There are alot of shampoos that can give you a really shiny, smooth look, which shampoo do you use?

I agree, I much prefer the first style.

Oh my gosh, please don't! The first one looks so much better! No-one looks good with the 2nd hair, not even Josh Holloway! (!!!!!!)

But if you must...

To get it soft and shiny, you need:

Ceramic straightners (GHD's if you can afford them)
A Comb
TIGI Bedhead Afterparty

I was wondering if he was asking how to get it like the second pic, or for an opinion of the style, or what? FWIW, and in lieu of an actual question, to go from the first pic to the second one would take around 6-9 months of growing your hair, some colour, and a good shampoo/conditioner that works well with your hair type, OP (you'll need to experiment to find a product that works well for you, but try to go for ones that are specifically formulated for coloured hair if you do dye yours).
