Nokia Freepost Repair
bradisace
24-09-2009
Hi I am looking for some advice - I have sent away my mobile phone (Nokia 6600 slide) away for repair 2 weeks ago now using the Nokia freepost service as there were numerous problems with it e.g. crashing, resetting and some buttons have stopped working. This is the second time now I have sent the phone away for repair for similar problems!

How long does it usually take for Nokia to repair/replace the handset and send it back? Has anyone else had bad experiences with Nokia's repair process?

Thanks in advance!

I sent an E61 off last September, was returned a week later. Considering the Freepost address is slow I thought it was a good service.

Bear in mind that because of the postal strikes, there are millions of items backlogged. With some first class items taking 5 days (according to Royal Mail customer services), I would expect that Freepost would be slower.

I sent a first class recorded letter recently which took 8 days to arrive. A special delivery sent Tuesday this week was delivered Thursday. Hopefully, the post is not so bad in your part of the country.
