Hi everyone. Just checking if anyone else has lost their clock display on the Humax HDR when its in standby?
Think I lost it after this new update but can't be 100% sure.

Was it ever there in standby I think if you turn power save off the clock displays in standby otherwise it comes on about 15 min before a timer recording starts

Have you looked under the settee?

Seriously, have you changed the power save mode?

That would cause the change you mention.

Indeed the one in my bedroom has a bit of cardboard in front of it as as reported by others it is annoyingly bright when on.

IR still works as sensor is at side of display.

Just think how much they could have saved us all leaving off the display and all driving electronics?

I was just thinking about this yesterday,when in standby and it's not recording I don't have a clock.Is this normal as I would like to see the time in standby if poss.

Turn off power saving in sby (it will increase the sby power consumption)
