I'm predicting #5. Would like it to be #1 but don't think the song is catchy enough, unfortunately.

I'd say they'd be lucky to reach the top 10

When is this available? I quite like it.

Possible top 10.

i think low top 10. i'm disappointed with this song as the first from the new album, considering the impression they made with many of the superb songs from the first. it starts well and the verses are good, but the annoying and repetitive pop-ballad chorus kinda spoils it for me.

I'm so disappointed with this, especially with it being the first single of a new album...if work failed to set the charts alight i don't see this one doing much better tbh.

Low top 10.

Seems weird that they've done NO promotion whatsoever, and theres no hype surrounding them at all when it's out pretty soon

Top 10 ideally, but after Work charting in the top 30 its a bit concerning though I understand that was the last single from their debut album so that would have contributed to it but still people were expecting Work to do v.v. very well.

Yeah, IMO their management messed up big time when they released 'If This Is Love' first. It should have went - first single ('Up'), second single ('Work'), third single ('Issues' or Chasing Lights), then Just Can't Get Enough and NO FIFTH SINGLE. ITIS was a good song but I have no idea why it was released at all, never mind first.

'Work' did badly but taking all things into account (little promotion, a sell out tour at the time, MJ's death, 4th single from an album) it wasn't *that* much of a flop.

I bet their management have made another mistake and released Forever is Over ahead of a potential #1 hit.

Why would they promote it weeks befor the release? personally i belive if its getting airplay, main promo is ok until the week before/of release.

28/09/09 - Channel 4 - Paul O'Grady – Performance and chat
06/10/09 - ITV1 - This Morning – Performance and chat
08/08/09 - FIVE - Live From Studio 5 – Chat
03/10/09 - TMF - The Sats Saturday Night Party - Take-over – The Saturdays host the show
Oct - Virgin Media - The Saturdays take over the music section for the month of October!
10/10/09 - BBC2 - TMi - VT with Sam and Mark, the girls will also feature on the show on the 17th so make sure you tune in twice!
10/10/09 - BBC2 - 5:19 SHOW – Chat
17/10/09 - Channel 4 - Hollyoaks Music Festival – Performance of 'Forever Is Over' and exclusive album track 'Wordshaker'
22/10/09 - BBC2 – Buzzcocks featuring Rochelle!
10/10/09 - MTV Hits – The Sats Saturday Night Party - Take-over - The Saturdays host the show

I'm not even really a fan of The Saturdays, but they are much better than any of those artists you've just listed (especially the grossly overrated Jordin Sparks), so i don't see why they couldn't chart quite highly if that's all they are going up against.

Whitney Houston is back? The words "past" and "sell-by-date" spring to mind...

First time they've not been on GMTV to promote then.

Well Mr Hudson went to #2 a few weeks ago and was in the charts for a good while, Chipmunk had a top ten a few months ago and his new song is quite popular already, Jordin *might* get top 10 but can't see it and it all depends on how well Whitney does, IMO. Plus, Lady GaGa is out this week with 'Love Game' so that might chart highly for a while.

They don't seem to be getting any buzz around this single, though and Forever is Over has only just made the B-List on Radio 1. It might make the Top 10 if they are lucky, but it certainly won't make number one.

Top 10 but i can't see this being a big hit. It may leave the chart quickly.

my guess is number 11. i am a saturdays fan, but this song is not very good, infact, if it was released by an unknown girlband, then it would NOT make top 40 at all. i really hope they have better material coming...

They've been doomed since they didn't manage to get #1 with JCGE.

I would love them to be #39 or so. Unfortunately I think it'll do considerably better.

Whitney is much better than the Saturdays. And Million Dollar Bill is much better than Forever Is Over.

I think wisecrack was being sarcastic. Their tour was a sell out although it was a mainly theatre tour. They managed to sell out Cardiff arena though.
