anyone having problems in the midlands area??

several people I know getting no dial tone, not accepting incoming calls, etc.

Are they all in the same area? It's probably a local exchange issue, rather than regional.

yeah, you're probably right.

Funny thing is I lost the dial tone, and the ability to recieve incoming calls... but I was on the internet the whole time and this was not affected!

all seems ok now though.
