What did you think of Zoe's Waltz?

Agree. There was some dodgy marking all round tonight. I thought Natalie was better than how they placed her - I thought that in comparison to Ali last week no way did Zoe deserve 30 marks. Some of the judges (I think) gave the same mark to Richard and Craig - what is that all about?

IMHO the Zoe and Phil were both over marked.

Dull and overmarked.

Ah, if that's the case, I withdraw my comment. Thanks!

Zoe's waltz was overmarked.

I'm just wondering why.

Couldn't agree more- and as people will say when it suits its the places on the board that count in the end!

I have to say that James and Zoe seem to be getting on well and its showing in the partnership- hope that they carry on improving

Evening Sid!

Agree with both of you- she was improved and I loved this rumba- and James is improving every year

Hiya Sid

I'm a bit worried this year - I'm even taking to Ola

I liked Zoe's waltz too I have to say, although it wasn't as good as Rickys and I thought equal to Tuffers

smooches Sid

I warmed to him last year and this year he seems just as relaxed- and I think Zoe is coming across really well (loved her disfunctional family comment!)

Ola this year is the revelation- Chris is making the difference.

I couldn't understand the love for Ian until last year when he was with Jodie- its amazing the difference the partner makes

That is so true Feline! - I started warming to James when he was with Cherie last year.

Yeah, I'm loving the partnership between Zoe and James, second only to Chris and Ola, who impressed me the most

Heyjude they were one of my favourite couples last year and that surprised me! This year I am liking them- not quite as much as Team Cola tho like Yasmin!

I have to say that I also like natalie and Vincent this week and was surprised by Ricky who was very humble when he looks like he should be arrogant.

Nice to be surprised sometimes though!

<smooch> FF (although be warned, I had garlic bread for dinner!)

You're absolutely right. I've shocked myself by taking a liking to Brendan (I know!!) and Ola this time. And it's all because of the celebrity they are partnered with.

Chris seems to bring out a more relaxed and happy Ola, whilst Brenda has been so supportive and protective of Jo and I like that.

It certainly is - we won't mention the 1979 bit again!

Hope you're well Yas, great to see you on the boards again x

Lol, Ok we won't mention that again. I'm very glad you are here as well Sid. we usually seem to have similar views. Who are you loving this year.

That's because we have great taste

Natalie, Laila and Chris are early favourites of mine.

I rarely find myself drawn to the ones who are extremely good early on (Ali, Ricky W and Zoe). I prefer to see my celebrities develop from mediocre to magnificent.

What about you?

*hugs* Ah yes-so you have Sid- hope it was good!

Brendan I have liked from the first- its all BBC spin the bad boy stuff but I do wish sometimes he would be quiet! I have to say that I am not that interested in Brendan and Jo as they did nothing for me either night but its nice that she will stay in at least another week as she was another one suffering with nerves poor thing.

I will be intrigued to see how some of them do next week when the groups are mixed and its all down to the one chance dance- nerves and good/ bad choreo will really come into play! Choice of dance could be a deal breaker!

I'm loving Chris above anyone else but like Zoe and I think Ricky is amazing but his fake modesty is putting me off. Also he seems shallow, hate that in a human being.

Brendan really does need to learn when to zip it (but I don't think he ever will! That's Brendan for you).

And yes, the contest will begin in earnest next week. We will truly be able to compare the likes of Zoe, Ricky and Ali as they dance on the same night and see which of the outsiders can really take on board the judge's comments and improve.

Can't wait!

I can't warm to Ricky and his partner at all.

And their Rhumba was far too aggressive. Where was the warmth and tenderness? And I'm sure I spotted a lift...

Watching it again ... Zoe's rhumba was over-marked too.

We name the guilty judges: Craig, Alesha, Bruno. Those three all gave it an undeserved 8.
