Watch this and tell me if you agree there is just something not right about this whole video. There are really strange references and the way its set out seems really odd. Have La Roux been in touch with Satan? This video actually scares me now!

the woman can do no wrong - i find her a breath of fresh air.

Bit weird, but nothing wrong with it. It reminded me a bit of that old Soundgarden one- Black Hole Sun. Probably only because both videos have people straight from the Uncanny Valley in them, but still...

What do you mean 'strange references'? References to what?

Weird video and the backing track sounds more like a computer game than ever. I like electropop but I wouldn't call singing to a video game track "proper" electropop at all.

I'm abit sick of La Roux already, I loved them when they released In for the Kill and I would agree with the poster who said she was a breath of fresh air but I don't really think this anymore, her music is too predictable, it's safe electropop. I'm being brutually honest when I say I think she looks ridiculous, it is one thing having your little quirky style but I think it has to be a believable style and I do think her image is starting to get abit on the 'I'm just attention seeking' road.

I think she has what could potentially be a good voice, but she trashes too much trying to stick it all electro-pop. I'd love to hear her back to basics and just being abit more natural because at the moment I think she is abit false.

As for the video, I think it is abit on the weird and uncreative side.

Not to mention she seems to criticise and slag off other acts who have more talent to her.

CNBCWatcher you are so bloody right As soon as that video started it took me straight back to my youth playing Sonic The Hedgehog on the MegaDrive! That song is just shocking. The hairstyle is a bit Sonic The Hedgehog too.

I think she has based her image and sound on that computer game!

that's taking things a bit far, don't you think?

i fail to find anything satanic about it.

Personally, I really like La Roux. Can't see how the video is demonic though.

I've been a fan of electronica & electro-pop for years now, and i'm really at a loss about why LaRoux is so popular. They're not innovative or pushing the genre forwards, which it needs to do, otherwise it's looked upon as a "retro" genre. I'm sure they're capable of better than this.

I'm going to blow my own trumpet a bit and put up a link to a music video for my band's track, called "The Hunter". The song was more or less recorded in my garden "Shedio" studio and was finished off at a local studio for the vocals. No record company behind this, all self financed for the love of doing it. Video filmed locally in North Wales.

Hope you enjoy.
