I hope you're aware of the clouding issues that have been affecting a large number of them. I understand Sony no longer recognise it as a fault.


There are lots of threads over on the WhatHiFi forums, some many tens of pages long so I'll just link you to one with a picture of the problem and leave you to find the others yourself.

I'm well aware that Sony's can suffer this issue and have been ever since I started looking at LCDs when it was the W3000 I was looking at. I was considering the Samsung LE650B until I read on the Amazon customer review section about some unresolvable issues with the sound (very poor internal sound and a mismatch between sound and picture sync when using audio out to an external amplifier).
