Just wondered why Tess (the most wooden presenter you'll ever see) no longer joins in with Bruce's pathetic dance at the start of the show?

Sorry Tess - I do find you very attractive BUT as a presenter you are totally wooden babe.

The same goes for Bruce - he's too old now not to mention cringeworthy. I find it embarrassing that such a great show is presented by two people with zero chemistry, zero personality and zero presentation skills. Tess is too wooden and Bruce is way past his sell by date.

I'd rather Lionel Blair presented with Alesha Dixon.

Because she tried it for 6 series and still couldn't do it...

I have a feeling that they've read forum posts calling it a bit rubbish and opted to change it... to something far, far worse. If you're going to cut Tess from the dance - don't make her ACT!

A serious answer - the producers have finally accepted Tess just can't dance in the dresses and shoes she wears.

Yes (clicky). As you can see, it shouldn't have been problematic in that dress... but it seems to have been, somehow...

She's too busy pointing at Bruce in that irksome, backslapping showbiz style.

Perhaps during one of her kicks last year she ripped one of her poundland dresses, so the producers have cautioned her to keep her flexibility under control .

and we've got to remember it's aimed at children also. With Merlin on before hand as well there's only so much that they can watch before having nightmares . Their dance might just tip them over the edge and not sleep for weeks...

Stopped Dancing? She never started!

It did go through my mind she was wearing a short dress to make things easier, but clearly that didn't help at all as she looks like Victoria Beckham with blonde hair in that photo!

I have worked it out though.

I think she's stopped dancing to concentrate on her impressions of Bruce she has been doing part way through the show up on the balcony.

The answer therefore is...because she can't multi task!

...but when you go from their little pantomime act, to a pro routine, worthy of the west-end, it does show them up, just a tad.

Just a suggestion but perhaps a little stress incontinence after the birth of her daughter? It happens...

Can't dance, can't present, now the thing that Ms Daley can do really well is simper - and she has a PhD in that; along with batting her eyes, weeping crocodile tears and giving out cloying sympathy and being over dramatic when asking for people to vote. How this woman has become a household name beats me . She comes over as having no personality and completely vacuous. She has about as much talent as a tree trunk and about as much charisma. The reason she has stopped dancing is quite simple really. She has had lessons from the best in the business and they have been trying to teach her for years but they failed because the woman has absolutely no talent.

I'm guessing you don't like Tess much. I think she's okay tbh.

I think it's pretty safe to say she's not at the top of your Christmas card list anyway .

I don't mind her as a person, just she can be a bit of a spare part at times on SCD.
