I'm needing to get a HDMI switch as my TV only has the one input and I've now got SkyHD, an Xbox360 and PS3 all fighting for the connection.

Will any switch do that I can find on ebay or should I be looking out for something in particular? I'm not wanting to pick up a cheap one and then find out it degrades the picture in some way.

It won't degrade the picture as your are feeding digital but some cheap switches may experience problems with the HDCP hand shaking when going from on source to another. So if you can get some recommendations before you buy then all the better.

I bought the 3 to 1 HDMI switch (made by Pure AV/Belkin) today as my tv also only has 1 HDMI socket. The box works perfect, and this one is remote control as well (cheaper options wont be).

Just remember that when use a switch box for HDMI the tv will have to re-sync when you change over - there's a bit of a delay.

I bought a cheap manual one from Argos(£12 ish). All was going fine for the first couple of months then I speradically lost my sky picture. At first thought it was my sky box, after proving to myself that it wasn't the sky box that only left the manual switcher. All fine again after removing it. Now just saving for a decent switcher.

Take it back to Argos under guarantee. Remember you have 2 years guarantee under EU legislation that has been ratified by the UK.
