If you have I would very much like your views on it or a bigger version of that model. I mainly view Sky and I am particularly interested in football and other fast sports.

Had the said TV for a few months.
No issues with it and very pleased. Everything watched via and onkyo 606 via hdmi. Sky+HD, BD-30 and Wii. Have not used the freesat yet as I will need to get a new lnb and cable run. The smooth motion stuff just makes everything look like its filmed on video so do not use. Which is odd as this was a big marketing point by panasonic for such a poor feature. Only thoughts are that maybe should I have gone for a bigger one |

Is there much hassle running it in and how do you know how many hours it has been running?
My viewing will be on Sky, particularly football, without any aids, whatsoever. Have you experienced that? If so, how did it perform. You say that you don't use the 'The smooth motion stuff'. Are you referring to THX, which is all the rave and so cherished in the review? Is the sound any good? I have only just started researching this product; hence the somewhat basic questions. |

I have the 50" version & can't praise it enough. I was a little unsure initially going to plasma from a nice LCD but I need not have been concerned. Some have said motion is not this sets strongest point but I have to dissagree, motion is superbly handled as long as you turn off IFC (which is the thing thats supposed to improve motion!)
The THX mode is superb especialy for blu ray, it gives very accurate out of the box settings in this mode which is how it gains THX accreditation. The G10 is also a good set but for me the V10 has the edge & looks much nicer too with it's single sheet of glass design. ![]() There is absolutely no need to run it in as such, there is so much duff information out there I phoned Panasonic & they confirmed it is not needed, just plug it in & enjoy it! I have had mine about two months or so now, there are no image retention issues (Panasonics have this cracked) in fact no issues at all it simply does what it supposed to do & very well indeed. I bought it via a Panasonic Dealer so got the 5 Year free Panasonic warranty for peace of mind. http://www.avforums.com/reviews/Pana...10-Review.html |
