I don't know how she was saved tonight?

Hear hear.

She looked terrific in that Rhumba outfit.

There's a vulnerability about her that makes her very endearing.

I'm glad she was saved. I just wanted her to get through at least one week.

jo is far sexier, to me, than that little russian teen ronnie ran off with. by far.

I thought she looked gorgeous and she really won me over character wise this week

She's not winning me over at all, don't know why. I'd have preferred Richard Dunwoody to stay. Just my opinion!!

Agree.

Jo Wood, on the other hand, was a total disarseter.

I think if she had more confidence in herself, she would have more stage presence. She looks so terrified and miserable most of the time, it's a bit offputting. Full marks to her for having the courage to go on stage and do it, more than I could ever do. Also full marks to Brendan for being so supportive, loved when he stood up for her against Craig's horrible comments. I also thought her second dance was better than her first, hope she continues to improve and I'm glad she got through tonight.

indeed, good on brendan. "rude, arrogant and unnecessary" is quite a way to describe craig revel horwood...

Both of her outfits were dreadful She can't be getting on with the staff in the costume department, unlike Laila, who had great outfits, and so must be best friends with someone in the costume department.

Anyone who thinks Jo looked good in that outfit needs their eyes testing

Yep, Jo Wood is really winning me over too, character wise. Really hope her dancing improves. Brendan sticking up for her was very sweet of him. Would love to be a fly on the wall in the BBC bar tonight, I'd imagine Brendan won't be letting this one go!

I think Brendan is genuine in his affection for Jo and she did not look out of place dancing the Rumba with him. Again Brendan pitched it about right and I think they both can be proud of their showing so far.
Most of the competitors who have looked good so far, had previous dance training, which is always worth remembering when judging how well Jo is dancing.

I thought Jo was going to be the most irritating celeb in this series, but over the last week she has grown on me. She seems to be a lovely person and is the most glamorous granny I have ever seen in my life! I would never vote for her though and think she should have gone home tonight, but that public kept her in so that's that.

On the other hand I think Brendan was out of order answering Craig back when he did. He should have kept his mouth shut until he was back in the red room with Tess. He had been brilliant with Jo until then imho. Plus they did a lift - intentional or unintentional - just before the end of the routine and my guess is the judges didn't take any notice of it because they didn't think she'd stay in tonight.

She danced much better than last night and Craig's mark was too low imho.

Or we just have a different opinion to you?

These sorts of judgments are subjective. What appeals to some might not appeal to others.
who me?

I thought Jo looked lovely for both dances. I was really pleased she stayed and I thought Craig (who I do like) was unnecessarilly harsh for her first week. She was treated a little bit like I thought Heather Small was last year, ie had her confidence badly knocked and was given very little encouragement.

I preferred her Tango outfit but I'd be happy to have her legs

She is incredibly irritating and looks permanently spaced out to me. She undeniably has a fantastic figure even for someone 20 years younger but she cannot dance at all

I agree, a lift which isn't meant to be there always deserves a 10 Brendan has a thing about putting in extra lifts, even if it was unintentional this time

Jo is gorgegous and I agree with an OP she has got aqn vulnerability that makes her very endering. She has also brought our a softer side to Brendon and it was so sweet to see him stand up to Craig regards his nasty remarks.

I wish them lots of luck and hope they stay in for a few good weeks

Her rumba dress was horrible - the material was too solid for that style. I think she should have been in the dance off.

that's true, i'm not used to brendan being so supportive of his partner, so his defence of jo was a nice surprise.

The judges' comments and low marks for Jo surprised me tonight; I thought she performed with feeling throughout, and with some moments of grace and elegance, at times - the whole routine was really sweet, I enjoyed it. And she looked beautiful.
