Too much raunch from Jordan

For once I agree with Len. That rumba tonight was cringemakingly embarressing in its raunchiness. If I was Ola I would tell him to cut out all this close up OTT smooching, which has nothing to do with the dance. He also shows little respect for Zoe's feelings, when she begged him so many times not to pursue this over sexy theme.

No wonder so many partnerships come to grief on this show, when they carry the intimacy of the dance way too far.

Was there footage of her asking him to tone it down?

"Too much raunch from Jordan"

Sorry - thought I was on the wrong forum for a minute there...

I think she's too busy surviving her alleged rape at the moment...

I couldn't believe it when Len made that comment, I wondered if we'd been watching the same dance. 'Wooden' and 'pedestrian' were what came to my mind, not 'raunchy'.

I thought they did just fine. James has a knack of putting routines together that have the right level of difficulty for the celeb at the time and had it been that "raunchy" surely Craig would have made one of his customary gleeful references to "filth"?

I kinda agreed with Len as well. It was almost as if James had substituted sleaze for dance. The Rumba is a difficult dance and I think James opted for performance rather than steps. In saying that, considering it was her first week, Zoe looked as if she had followed James instructions to the letter and has to be "commended" for it.

YES! I agree competely. I said to my partner while watching it there isnt much dancing and more just embracing I thought.

I thought their rumba was terrific. Too raunchy? Is Len developing a prudish side in his old age? I thought their dance showed the developing love story quite well and wasn't particularly raunchy or too erotic. Just sexy enough!

In the training footage, Zoe said she had difficulty with James asking her to be sexy, and gets very embrassed.
She also said she didn't want anyone in the audiance to be uncomfortable watching it. I didn't think the dance content was that great but I enjoyed it. non the less.

I thought it was a fantastic rumba. Zoe did a fantastic job and she was acting she is an actress afterall.

Why would Ola be worried ?? is she not the one who came out on the dance floor half naked with her partner for the Rumba.

I think both Jordans have coreographed great rumbas this series and I am not normally a fan.

Strange for an actress to have issues with a sexy dance, now how many bed scenes did zoe do in footballers wives? Surely more embarrassing than a dance routine?

Brilliant rumba - everything a rumba should be. Zoe is enough of her own person to have refused to do it if she was embarassed. It did not get a "filth" comment from Craig - it was very sexy and extremely watchable.

I thought the rumba was brilliant and the "raunchy" aspect came more from their chemistry than the moves themselves.

No, but she did keep saying how much she hated trying to look sexy..

I didn't actually think the rumba was that raunchy...a bit up close and personal but I don't know about raunchy.

Me three!

I was going to say, I thought the whole idea of Jordan (as in Katie Price) was to be raunchy!

I agree. I didn't watch Footballers' Wives, but wasn't there lots of sex in that? It is usually the male celebs who struggle with the intimacy of some of the dances and I certainly wouldn't have expected it of a female actress like Zoe who has appeared naked on TV.

It had a lot of sex in it and she was naked quite a bit. But I think she was just portraying a character; Zoe in real life doesn't seem like Tanya at all.

I loved it. len has gone on for years on ITT that the rumba can portray any kind of love, be it platonic, romantic, sexual or even possessive jealousy! And then to say where was the romance?

Loved it, more raunch please James
