But the judges tell contestants that they have to act the role all the time, why should Zoe have a problem doing that now especially when she is keeping her clothes on?

I'd rather dance a raunchy dance in front of millions than be naked for sex scenes!

I think the mixture of acting and dancing might have made her a bit

I really liked Zoe & James rhumba better than Ricky's. I said as it ended that I don't normally like the rhumbas that the celebs do but that one sort of changed my mind. I actually agree with Alesha's comments on it - and thought it had just enough sexy to it without leeching into the too raunchy. I also thought the connection (chemistry whatever) between them really told the story.

I thought it was too much tbh. Reminded me of Carol Vorderman

I hate watching dances where the dancers are practically making out, I just press the forward button!

OMG no

Not really a rumba fan, i think i'll have to watch this one again because frankly i was glad when it was over.

I think i've only liked 3 or 4 rumbas over the past 7 years.

Colin and Erin's
rachel and Vincent's
Rickey and Natalie's

can't think of many others, too embarrassing

I loved it and even if I hadn't, Zoe was only doing what James had asked of her and doing it very well, in which case she deserved praise for the achievment.

I liked Gethin's rhumba. He danced like a man in that one, and though it was not techically good, he sold the performance. I liked Cherie's rhumba with James too.

I don't find Zoe's rhumba objectionable. Like it more than Ricky's attempt. I think Natalie Lowe, being a ballroom queen are not really good with latin stuff, because she was trying to imitate what some pros do when dancing rhumba - quick, sudden spin, drop, dramatic push-pull. Recalled two pros (not SCD pros) apparently World Champions doing the rhumba and it was like this, the woman spinning literally like a top (and one point her skirt changed colour!), and the man just keep pushing and pulling her violently. Not nice.

I am not James Jordan's No. 1 fan as I feel he is very arrogant, conceited, up himself and engages tongue before brain but he is a brilliant dancer. I thought he choreographed a beautiful rumba. Obviously Zoe was uncomfortable with "being sexy" at the beginning but she is an actress at the end of the day. Dance is about portraying a story, sentiment, mood or whatever and it is her job to do what the choreographer requires to the best of her ability.

Can't say I'm keen on Zoe & James as a couple, but I have to admit their Rhumba was pitched just right.

Interestingly, James got a great Rhumba out of Cherie last year as well. Perhaps it's his dance?

Given the chance he could get a great Rhumba out of me.

I thought Len was spot on, I hate smutty rumba's. I think Zoe's costume (dress would be an overstatement) didn't help matters either, it made her look overtly sexy which doesn't really suit her or the dance, she may have done better with a better pro.

I loved it. I didn't think it was too raunchy at all, I'd have said it was very passionate, but in a romantic-typey way.
I love the Zoe/James partnership, really great chemistry between them.
James' choreography never fails to draw me in, without a doubt one of my favourite pros. I'd happily dance with him

Of course, it gave me a chance to drool.

I liked their Rhumba. It actually gripped me. I thought it was more effective than Ricky's, which I agreed with Len about. Though it was very well done for a first dance, of course.

I think I like Zoe, and can see that she will improve and am looking forward to her next dances.

I enjoyed it. And I am not at all a James-fan. Not AT ALL!!!
It ticked all the boxes for me.

I really liked it - I didn't see what Len was on about.

Zoe is one of my early favourites. She and James make a very good couple.

Beautifully acted.........looked like she had borrowed one of Ola's old frocks to me tho

I liked the dance but was distracted by her hair It didn't move at all...except when James's arm knocked the front of it over her eyes. Really weird.

I also can't stand James, so it effects how I feel about the dances even though I try hard not to let it. If Zoe was partnered with someone else I think I'd like her better.

Len's comments on their rumba sounded just the same as when he was commenting on Apollo Anton Ohno's rumba in DWTS !

I actually didn't get much 'sexy' from it at all - Cherie's rumba with James last year was far more erotic and showed more of a connection between the pair than Zoe and James last night. That said, I do agree that Zoe and James did a better job with the connection side of things than Ricky and Natalie.

That was far more restrained than the rumba Claire King did with Brendan as well. Now THAT was filth, particularly because it was devoid of any genuine feeling

Found it quite boring didn't do anything for me but there again it would be boring if we all liked the same!
