That wasn't up to much either.

I'm not a huge fan of James Jordan's (after him being a bit rough on his celebrities when he first started in Strictly) but I re-watched this dance this afternoon, and rather liked it. I've seen raunchier on Strictly before!

Craig and Bruno were right. It was a brilliant Rumba.

Can't stand that Jordan guy. Much too full of himself. So now Zoe is embarrassed to have to dance sexy when she was happy to constantly take her clothes off and do sex scenes in The Footballer Wives!"""" Who is she trying to kid???? Whether she was in character or not she was still nearly nude in those scenes. Never seen anything like it and stopped watching the show as it got worse and worse as the series continued. I just think the whole (I am so embarrassed) thingy is hysterical under the circumstances. I think Jordan is so arrogant and a big turn off!! Would hate to have him as my partner in the show. UGH Ridiculous haircut he has at the moment.

Not as good as his rumba with Cherie - but not far off. Great story-telling - just a shame Zoe's hair went all Phil Oakey!

And as far as 'raunchy' goes, it was very tasteful and actually less raunchy, I would say, than Rachel and Vincent's last year.

I am really liking Zoe so far - great sense of humour.

I think you may find that Len scored James down because of their barbed exchange over haircuts on Friday, in which James got the last word ... I hope he hasn't marked Zoe's card.

Rachel last years so famous Rumba also seemed to be as raunchy as zoe's and len just loved that

I thought Zoe and james was pitched abut right and I hope they go far in the competion

I agree about the Rhumba with Cherie being slightly better and I preferred Cherie's dress too as I thought is was fabulous. It was a shame when Zoe's hair (which I loved) got stuck to her lip gloss - something to remember next time when choosing choreography and hairstyles I guess!

I like James' hair sticking up - better than when it was too long last year or the year before and he was just combing it back all the time.

I quite liked it and didn't see it as too raunchy at all; I too enjoyed it more than Ricky and Natalie's death-throes rumba

I think it's difficult for the pros to pitch the rumba just right: they'll either get told off for making it too soft (e.g. Austin and Erin's rumba, when Bruno told Austin to give Erin 'a good go' in the middle of the dancefloor!) or too spiky (Ricky and Natalie's; Louisa and Vincent's) I do like the rumba, but I can only think of a few on the show that have hit the right mark and brought the right chemistry to the dance.

I'd just like to add that I think it was a mistake having the Rhumba as a first dance.

I think it is better suited to later in the series when couples have had a real chance to gel, because then we'd have much more chance of seeing any 'chemistry' they can bring to that dance to make it special.

I can see what you are saying Buddy, but I think we can take it as read that Zoe and James have gelled already.

Footballer's Wives was an OTT soap opera. It never required her to actually be sexy.

IMO James and Zoe's rumba was fantastic and it's only their first week, I can't wait to see more of them!!
