The problem is that people read it and fall hook, line and sinker for the tabloid crap. It's ridiculous!!

She's had long term relationships with two dance partners and married one of them. Wow, that's a shocker!! Not exactly unusual in the dance world considering you socialise within dancing all of the time and tend to get with partners in the first place because you get on well and have chemistry. Not that surprising when it occasionally turns more serious after spending 10 hours a day training together.

The whole "man-eater" thing is lazy, based upon flimsy reasons and sexist. I feel quite sorry for her about the whole thing.

I think they make a lovely couple, Joe seems to adore her.

A plank of wood could dance better than Joe, he'll have to do a lot better in future.

To be fair, I actually think he did better when dancing alongside Rav in the group dance.

Rav just looked chunky and stiff, despite being able to move his hips now and again. Joe did show (as Craig pointed out) he could shimmy ('isolate his rib cage') in the MJ routine.

Of course, it's purely my opinion and I might well be in the minority to think Joe danced better than Rav in the group dance.

I do not find them an attractive couple at all, he seems a little 'slow' and she appears to enjoy the limelight, any limelight

Hmm One or two of the couples seem to be rather close this year! I am not mentioning any names!

Perhaps Kristina likes a bit of wood.

Maybe the constant kissing each other last night gave it away?

At least if there is something going on, they are keeping to themselves.

LMAO I always remember that! Whenever there's a couple with zero dancefloor chemistry I automatically think "They're doin' it".

It pains me to say it as I really liked her last series....but Kristina is starting to exhibit all the desperation of an Odessa Docks hooker

It maybe true but I'm sure if it is they and the producers will milk it for all it's worth.”

The only reason Matt and Flavia kept it a secret was probably because she was cheating on Vincent with Matt.

If Joe and Kristina want to be open and truthful about their relationship then who is anyone to judge them for it? I always prefer honesty over lies any day.

Was just about to add this! I think they're engaged (?), and I saw her in the audience in the first week.

Thought so, I think Ricky is what I call a friendly flirt, he is just having some innocent fun with Natalie.

Exactly. Flavia was a cheat and it wouldn't have come across well if she flaunted it. I'm happy she is still with Matt though. Joe and Kristina are both single so they can do what they want.

Probably why Ricky needs to learn to hide anything that "may" be going on with Natalie. He's not doing a great job.

No real need to go over this ground again, but just for the record, Flavia did not cheat on Vincent - their relationship was over before she ever got involved with Matt.

The reason she and Matt have been so discreet is because their relationship is what is important to them, not the perceived 'celebrity' that goes with all the media circus surrounding this type of programme.

But Joe and Kristina seem a complete mismatch to me - I think they'd be better just enjoying working together and see if they're still friends at the end of it, before building themselves up as some hot romance! Enough pressure, surely, just being on the show!

The tabloids are the people building it up, Joe and Kristina have previously been trying to keep a lid on it. I know some are convinced it's a publicity stunt, but personally I don't think they wanted paparazzi camped outside Kristina's flat and snapping them every time they hold hands. (Which all the other couples do as well)

Just for a change!

Yup, point taken Erinfan. To be honest I was more annoyed about the sniping at Flavia and Matt than the fuss about K & J anyway!

That's understandable! I think Flavia tried to deal with the situation as well as possible, but sometimes you just find yourself in a messy situation and no neat and easy way out of it. I think she dealt with it all quite well.

Matt, Flavia, Kristina, Joe..etc...they're all human at the end of the day. It might be easy to say that they should do x, y or z, but it's not always that easy and we only ever hear about a tenth of the story - if that - from the tabloids. I'm sure none of them intended to fall for someone whilst on a TV programme.

I know I'm defending Kristina quite a lot on this thread - which is possibly annoying - I just find it really wrong and unfair that the tabloids have given her a reputation that she doesn't seem to deserve when you take everything into consideration. Really unfair. I don't believe J&K would have wanted to have been plastered over the papers for the past few weeks either.

Can't see them staying on the show too much longer anyway, so things should calm down.

I just hope that if Joe & Kristina have something genuine happening here, they are able to keep away from the media spotlight as much as possible once the programme is over. That way they can at least give themselves a chance!

And Erinfan - everyone needs someone on their side and I'm sure Kristina would appreciate your support!
