This is out on 9 November.

Here's the tracklisting and composers:

1. Almost There [Tom Baxter]
2. Apartment [Rufus Wainwright]
3. This Time [Gary Barlow]
4. I Love You Now [Nick Hodgeson]
5. Our Time Is Now [John Barry/Don Black]
6. As God Is My Witness [David Arnold/David McAlmont]
7. No Good About Goodbye [David Arnold/Don Black]
8. The Girl From Tiger Bay [Manic Street Preachers]
9. Nice Men [KT Tunstall]
10. After The Rain [Richard Hawley]
11. The Performance Of My Life [Pet Shop Boys]

It all looks amazing, though I am a fan anyway. Heard the Manics track on the radio yesterday and it was class - hopefully it'll be a single.

Anyone else tempted to buy this one?

Other than gay men, does anyone else actually buy her music?

i don't buy it, but i do love her because she's welsh.

i'll probably download the song the manics' wrote for her, on the strength of its title alone

I'll agree with you on that one!

She does have a few decent tracks but I find her voice a bit too strong for my liking.

i like a few of her belters - the bond themes, i who have nothing, hey big spender, etc. but only the well-known ones really.

Well you have both John Barry and David Arnold collaborating here.

I'll be buying it for the last track alone. La Bassey and the PSBs - fantastic!

Liked Dame Shirley's electric prom on BBC2 just now! Will be on red button I expect.

Great performance on the Electric Proms. Out of the songs from the new album I particularly liked The Girl From Tiger Bay, written by James Dean Bradfield (of Manic Street Preachers) and he came on to play guitar too. Two class acts onstage, you can't beat that. Shirley is naturally amazing as always.

I bought her single from a couple of years back, The Living Tree. Awesome stuff and plenty of remixes on there too.

Watched the Proms thing and thought she was terrific. She still has the pipes and the new stuff was very impressive, particularly the Manics and PSB numbers.
