would be better if they released a live album, and showed how good they actually are, rather than release this and reinforce the idea that they are a joke manufactured pop band that most people wrongly think they are

What other stuff? I hope you arent just talking about Dr Jones etc. But again, Dr Jones and Barbie Girl live are brilliant - Barbie Girl even has a bass solo live..
Have you seen them live, I would be willing to bet 95% of people would change their opinion of them once youve seen them live and found out that the band actually write and produce all their songs. There is no manufactured crap in Aqua take it from me, although I have read interviews where they state it was a conscious decision to deliberately not sound 'credible'.

the thing is i thought they were absolute terrible like you do, other than possibly Turn Back Time.
that is until i accidently saw them live on holiday in denmark, now ive seen them twice again
considering actually how big aqua were with barbie girl, dr jones and turn back time, i think its a shame how so many people including myself used to think of them as a shite manufactured pop band, when actually, they are probably one of the best bands around
