They are related as they wouldnt need a ton of makeup and some skimpy clothes to make up for a lack of talent.
If they performed with minimal make up and normal clothes it'd be oh so boring if they sang like that!
well they're obviously not there to sell good music and show off any kind of talent what-so-ever, the video proves that. As someone who hasn't got a clue who these women are - they come across as silly, manufactured tarts caked in so much make-up that they could scrape it off with a trowel and have enough to set up their own cosmetics range.
They seem like some 'project' put together with the sole purpose of shifting 'units', not promoting and selling a craft.

I only liked one of their songs "Up", and that was really only for the music video. Gotta love Pop Tarts tho.

i don't think anyone - even The Saturdays themselves - would claim that they are some kind of musical geniuses. they're a commercially-aimed girl band who make popular music. their music isn't meant to be groundbreaking. (does it need me to say that?) if you don't like them then ignore them. just stop being immature and whining about them every 5 minutes. it's as if you're trying to make them go away.

What on Earth are you talking about? Before this thread appeared, I'd never spoken of these women! Primarily because I didn't know they existed, so what are you going on about when you say I don't stop talking about them every 5 minutes as if I'm trying to make them o away?
I think I've done a pretty good job of ignoring them so far and if someone creates a thread telling everyone else how sh*t they are, it's totally up to me whether I choose to read and agree. And guess what, I do

i think i will take a bit of convincing before buying the new album. their 1st was one of the most enjoyable pop albums i bought last year but i don't like the new single, will have to hear some of the other new songs before i decide whether i buy the new album.

I thought this too when I first heard "Forever Is Over". I wasn't keen at all on the first few listens. Love it now though.

ok then find some examples of where i have done that. 99% of the time i'm grown up enough to say 'i don't like them but others might, so fair enough.' (except when it comes to anything from x factor, in which case i'm the same as almost everyone else here) unlike many people on here who seem to always say bitter things about artists they hate like 'omg they are terrible, anyone who likes them is stupid, why the hell do people buy their music?' etc. which i never do.

They are a pointlessly cyncial exercise by Fascination Records to cover for Girls Aloud while they are 'pursuing other projects'.

^ why shouldnt their fans say it though? if its true that some of the girls do play. the level of hate is quite scary. i never understand why people get worked up about people they disike, instead of ignoring them. it is true that rochelle does hold a gun to your head and make you listen to saturdays music?
I like the Saturdays but that performance is dire lol the chorus is awful though Vanessa sounds great. Just the others can't seem to harmonise very well which is strange as they do it on their performance of Beggin on Live Lounge.
