He actually ordered a quiche without salad or chips and it was misconstrued.

It depends thing could go well for her or fall down....having a big name behind you doesn't gurantee a successful career in the US. Esmee denters has JT behind her but ''outta here'' fell out of the top 10 within a few weeks.
Other artists I could name have been signed to famous labels and worked with top producers some even signed to artist's labels - and they still aren't what you'd call a household name. Good mainstream music and promotion on shows loke AI and lots of radio play is what usually garners a successful single for an upcoming artist.

Listen, I know you dislike Keisha I'm not a big fan of her personally either, but the way you go about expressing how you feel about her seems quite petty and childish.
I respect your opinon but I suggest you go about expressing that opinion by wording your posts with a more constructive vocabulary instead of just being negative.
I don't see Keisha being a star in the US either, having Ne-Yo behind her isn't a ticket to success but it could be a door opened to bigger things.
Ne-Yo's talent is songwirting - that's the talent which has garnered him the biggest praise and good commentary from music critics and gotten him were he is today. I'd say that's were he gets most of income. As an artist's he been successful as he's had a good amount of top ten hits but he's not artist with a his own sell out tour, he's not collected as many number ones compared to his opponents, he's not sold on a large scale compared to his opponents and in terms of fanbase he's not up there with Beyonce. He's been successful, but not on superstar heights.

Did it? Anyways, this is good if it's true. Ne-Yo is the writer behind songs like Irreplaceable, Take A Bow, Spotlight, Unfaithful etc, so there's no doubt he's capable of writing a hit. It would be interesting to hear what he comes up with for her.

No everyone is saying it. Keisha is a minger and isn't a good singer to be solo.

We all know she will fail but her fans are clinging onto the hope she will be as big as Leona[

which we all know won't happen

That is rich. I take it I don't need to boost the Get Sexy itunes thread to show you pettiness and true colours in regards to all this

Ne Yo did Thank You For The Heartbreak off the new album. It can be heard on Youtube. Sugababe ''fans'' were slating it as being shite a few weeks back. I wonder if their tune will change now

Your mature vocabulary for describing your dislike of Keisha is so refreshing.

What you are failing to realise is the contribution that Keisha made towards the Sugababes in terms of writing and the creative process. If she doesn't have a solo career, most people rightly assume she could easily have a writing career to match someone like Cathy Dennis. She will also have royalties from previous songs they sang when the inevitable 'Best Of' albums hit the shops when the band wraps up next year.

So one way or another, she's pretty much sorted. I wonder what Heidi and the others will do next.

Heidi is credited on all the same tracks as Keisha since 'Angels' so plays just a big part with the writing.

Are you a Babes fan? cause you don't seem to know that much about them.... I have noticed this with quite a few 'concerned ex' Babe fans. If they could just get their info right it might make their opinions more valid.

Yes she is, but as all 'Babes' fans know, Keisha is the most involved in the writing and creative process, often changing lyrics as they go along to make them fit better and so on. Just because you have writing credits on a song does not mean you contribute the same as all the others credited.

I posess every album they have produced, not sure if that fits your criteria for fan or not.

Most Babe fans do not know this. Keisha has always spoken about how they write their parts together and then decide how to roll with it. Mutya wrote nothing on Taller In More Ways but they credited her off their own backs. They didn't have to. Keisha was bitter about this and the interview can be seen on Youtube.

You are just trying to play down Heidi's part to suit your point. Did you know infact that it was Heidi who suggested to Richard X that he let them record Freak Like Me after she heard it played at one of his secret gigs so where would they have been without Heidi. Heidi obviously knows a hit.

Yawn...yet another sugababes topic going off topic for no other reason that dislikes for certain members.

As i remember, back in July he had his own tour...the first of the headlining nature. He played quite a few big arenas too.

While i agree he may not bolster Keisha's career, at least she has people wanting to work with her. I'm anticipating her solo ventures, see how good they are

Why dont you give the poor girl a chance before you write her off. She could do very well for herself.

Since leaving, Keisha has remained adamant it wasn't her decision to quit the band she had been part of for 11 years.

However, the 24-year-old singer has been thrown a musical life-line by Ne-Yo.

The R'n'B singer wants to work with Keisha and sent her a diamond-encrusted Chanel watch last weekend when she celebrated her birthday (30.09.09) early.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ne-Yo has promised to take Keisha under his wing. She was showered with gifts on Saturday (26.09.09), but his was the biggest. He bought her a diamond-encrusted Chanel watch with a message engraved on the back, 'Happy Birthday to Keisha, a friend and a survivor. This is your year. Ne-Yo.' "

I don't dislike Ne-Yo in fact I've downloaded a few of singles.
I didn't know he headlined his tour this July, so point taken.
I also never have said Keisha's career will fail in the US - just saying in my opinion I don't see her being massive.
I dislike Keisha, yes however I've never she's not talented either.

Did I ever call the Sugababes crap?? No! I just said how bad their sales were (as I was the only one in that bloody thread who knew the sales figures day after day and could predict where they would fall to- the rest of you were useless, or listening to what Moyles told you ), and how their material isnt as good as it once was!

You have personally started it up more than 5 threads bitching about Keisha, have I done that about the babes....No!

If not her, it's Alexandra

Keisha is better off out of it. She has far more talent than Heidi, Amelle and Jade.

Ne-Yo has to be one of the most overrated songwriters out there so good luck with that, Keisha.

If she doesn't have a solo career, most people rightly assume she could easily have a writing career to match someone like Cathy Dennis.
Where is this proof that she will a great writing career a la Cathy Dennis?! Co-writing a few songs for the Sugababes is no proof that there is any songwriting talent there to rival anybody.

Yes she is, but as all 'Babes' fans know, Keisha is the most involved in the writing and creative process, often changing lyrics as they go along to make them fit better and so on. Just because you have writing credits on a song does not mean you contribute the same as all the others credited.
I think that could easily apply to Keisha as well as Heidi.
