Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way To Blue (2009)
I was wondering what people's opinions were of the new AIC album, the first one since the death of Layne Stayley.
I really like it, it's what you'd expect from them with some good tracks on it. I think my favourite so far is Lesson Learned. What's your opinion? |

AIC were one of my highlights at this year's Sonisphere and the new songs fitted in to the set very well.
I'm getting the new CD tomorrow as it's pay day!

AIC are one of my favourite groups of all time and also in my opinion one of the most influential rock bands of the past 20 years.
Lets not beat around the bush, Dirt is one of the great albums and the loss of Layne was massive. I feel that this is a really good album to start with and given time will only grow even more on me. |

I'm listening to it right now and it's wonderful, up to Acid Bubble so far. Thought the song Your Decision was beautiful.

Excellent album. Probably the best CD of the year for me.
Here is the video for Check My Brain which is track 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBcADQziQWY |
