They were talking about Mariah doing the ballads in the 90's when she used to do it over and over, yet people didnt complain about if being boring then, they are it up, but prehaps in those days ballads were in.

I like Leona and Alexandra and think that both their voices have different strengths so don't really see the need to compare, Beyonce is extremely sexy, not many can be compared with her look wise , but I think Alexandra is fit. About the dancing, im pretty sure Alexandra could out dance Britney these days, her moves are just sloppy.

I'm not really a fan of Alex, she can sing but I don't like her new song at all. There's not need to bring looks into music anyway but come on; she is a very pretty girl.
And I hate to say that the comments about the JLS official forum are more or less true, which is why I avoid it unless I want to find out some actual news about them.
Not all of their fans are like that, please don't badmouth the boys because of the stupid ones However, I agree that they'll sell the least albums out of them, Alex and Leona. The OP is clearly forgetting that Alex won the competition; she must have a lot of fans who will buy her album.

If JLS sell more than Alex, it would be because of the 5 covers gimic... that appeal to the tweens.. nothing else. There's only so many times you can lift your shirt... NOT TO CHUCK THEM UNDER A BUS OR ANYTHING.

JLS are a gay band, they were well known as a gay band just before XF so how they are managing to come across as sexy to women (in bow ties, doing the 2 step) is a miracle in itself, or probably more down to Max Clifford having a few words in paper editors ears and circulating a few stories about them and women .... thats when you know an act aint straight. They are just another bland boyband, like A1, MN8 etc. They will have about a years shelf life and be gone. If JLS are gods gift to women, where are the kiss and tell stories? Where are their girlfriends? Where are the ex's? It's just like when all women fancied George Michael lol

Alexandra ... i agree she isn't sexy at all. The difference between her and Leona is that Leona, wheras Alex just looks awkward. I don't think both really look like true stars, Leona has the voice, Alex is just a fairly ok singer who has been hyped up. I honestly think the only reason Alex won XF was that the people behind the show looked at the success they had creating Leona (who has no personality whatsoever .. similar to Rachel Stevens) and managed with a lot of spin and weekly exposure to turn her into something big. I think they are just trying their luck again, i don't think she will last anywhere near as long as Leona. She's meant to be a right nasty little diva as well and rumours are that her people hate working with her so if she is truly difficult and doesn't sell albums she'll be gone.

I'm throughly unimpressed by everyone they have ever turned out of these UK talent shows aside maybe Will and Leona. They are just all inexperienced kids who can be tarted up a bit, given enough good comments that the kids believe it all and just have a years shelf life till the next one comes along. Cowell is a joke .. some of his comments are so false, he must laugh himself all the way to the bank. When they were looking at young kids in the final 24 for XF last week and they are talking about whether acts "looked" like pop stars or had "something" it was just ridiculous, half the time those they were looking at looked like they had to be back to school that afternoon.
