Thank you prking, some people seem to think I'm lying/making this up, but I'm serious. We loved Orange, had no cause for concern, but this just takes the biscuit!

Orange are definitely an appalling company in terms of customer service. I particularly love the way that, any time there's a thread like this questioning some incident that's happened, and where there might be room for some benefit of the doubt about who was in the wrong, some of their actual representatives always pop up and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt how bad their attitude really is. The contributions seen in this very thread from actual Orange call centre workers demonstrate precisely the attitude you get when you call them: arrogance, indifference, and a huge dollop of suggesting it's all your fault. They're the only mobile phone service provider I'd never use again, however 'good' a deal they promised, because of their dishonesty, arrogance, and total inability to stick to any agreement they make.
