Yup agreed but at least Cheryl Cole is a member of a hit girl band who have had a strings of hit records, its that other one that bothers me Dannii Minogue , she's never ever had a hit song in her whole career, can she even sing?

But the Great British public will still watch those awful shows and lap her up.

I seem to recall Minogue has had hit songs, and not while carried along by 4 other singers, as Cole has been, and this solo effort shows just how much she's been carried

Neither are great singers, but at least they've been in the business for a while (particularly Dannii) and they'd know it well. louis can't sing and only really knows boybands; he's also a bit of a joke as a judge. I'm sure Simon can't sing either!

Dannii comes across as a genuinely nice person, but I can't think of Cheryl without imagining the state of the toilet attendant's face after Cheryl beat her up.

Whats the point of x-factor what happened to Leon Jackson etc its just a karoake show back to cheryl she is getting money for old rope like cowell etc the mugs are the people who watch it and phone-in to vote for the karoake singers, come Christmas time the no 1 record will be the x-factor winner same old same old rubbish !

I tried to like her, ok, not very hard but she does my head in, I only watch the x factor (only once this series) because I like Danni.

I cant stand Cheryl Cole, she'll always be that scroat who asaulted a toilet attendant to me but I was expecting ''her people'' to come up with somthing fabulous, what with her being the new nations sweetheart and everything.

So much of the criticism of Dannii seems to be jumping on the bandwagon, rather than coming after having checked her music/career pedigree. Dannii's had several UK number ones, ten of them consecutive ones, on the UK Upfront Club chart. She's also had almost as many UK top 10 hits on the UK singles chart. She's the most successful female dance-pop artist in the UK. I'm no fan of hers, but I don't think people should knock the effort she's made, not least of all because she's done it as a solo artist. That to me is much harder than doing it as part of a group, as many who've left a group to pursue a solo career have found out. Nicola Roberts has the right idea focussing on cosmetics.

She;s not that bad a singer, she went through the same process and got into the group on the publics voting. Her band hasn't carried her, she's been one of the main singers from the day and hour the group started.

She's not the best singer, but she can hold a note every now and again. Her new song wasn't what anyone was expecting but sure, nothing can done about that now.

I wasn't questioning her personality..It goes without saying she has what the public wants.

But to judges on a show like X factor...Cowell and Walsh are well known music people as in managers ..promoters..They have taken individuals and bands to the top of the music scene.

No, but i doubt anyone here would be dilusional to think she would. The calibre of singer today is a lot better than it was 7 years ago when she won.

Great! It seems Im not the only one who remembers the toilet incident, it seems the public are blinded by her huge hair, and have forgotten what a nasty piece of work she is. You can see she has a temper from some of the looks she gives people on the X Factor, and her general attitude. I cannot understand the appeal with her, shes violent and fake. What's to like?
