I cant Believe this and the next act are live Do they use backing tapes. Live Footage i seen of Shakira on you tube live weak and forgettable compared to this. There's something about the The mika performance smells of old Top of the Pops.

You do know that whilst the show is recorded ''live'' only the first 30 minutes are actually live? They carry on recording the show and put the rest on the longer edition later in the week but they do retakes and all sorts too. Sometimes they edit the recording, keep the vocal and add on a backing track instead. One of my mates was in the audience for this show and after it went off air, they did retakes and on one particular song she said that the production sounded NOTHING like what it did when they recorded it in the studio. Obviously lots of editing goes on for the longer version

Two words i will never put with shakiras live performances, weak and forgettable, i hope you're talking anput recently, because her new stuff such as she wolf, is hard to sing live. But her older songs, she is amazing live.
