I've currently got my PS3 connected to a 24" Dell computer monitor (one of the cheaper more basic models that Dell offer).
I've been considering swapping this for a larger LCD TV but am hesitating a little as it's difficult to tell how much of an improvement this will be.
I've been looking at a Sony Bravia which would cost around £750. It would be used for PS3 (and possibly connected to a laptop for video playback).
Would a jump from a 24" computer monitor to a 40" LCD TV been a big improvement (better visually, would the additional 16" feel like a big increase) or should I just stick with my current set up?
Also pricing is currently around £730 - £750. Is this likely to drop any more in the coming months (or are prices likely to stay where they are / increase as Christmas nears)?
