I don't hate all of the songs on that list, but it's unlikely there will ever be one of these ''Worst Ever" or "Best Ever" lists where everyone agrees with everything on it. But overall I agree with most of them. I certainly agree with them that Mariah Carey and Westlife singing a Phil Collins song is a collaboration made in hell.

I'm pleasantly surprised Hero was so high and that The Man Who Can't Be Moved made the list. I can't stand boring, soppy love songs like those. The Man Who Can't Be Moved in particular has awful lyrics.

I agree with many of the suggestions here such as any of Maroon 5's songs, If I Were A Boy and Babycakes should have made the list.

I haven't heard the number one choice Who Let The Frog Out, but I think it's a safe bet that it'll be terrible.

Wow, I'm only up to number 12 on the list, and I've disagreed with a fair few already, I mean, how can counting crows cover of big yellow taxi be on there ?

Looking back over that list, it is surprising that most of them go straight over my head. I must have been living under a rock for the last decade Most probably because I only really listen to 'talk radio' shows like Big George etc than the Eurotrash pop they play on Kiss 100.

TBH it's just all good fun, naturally one person's opinion and written in a very funny way - I'd recommend reading the whole thing as it induced a few giggles, particularly when the writer called Scouting For Girls 'bedwetters.'

The only song I liked on that list was America, the rest were absolute dross.

I laughed at the following ..

Quote:
“Mariah Carey featuring Westlife: 'Against All Odds' (2000) – A coming together that you couldn't possibly dream up in your worst nightmares – egomaniac Mariah Carey and bedwetters Westlife covering a song by Phil ****ING Collins. The end result? Yup, you've guessed it, a musical holocaust.”

Worst song ever in the entire history of the 2000s = Outkast's 'Hey Ya'. Uuuuurgh, those same Casio keynotes hammer at my brain over and over again like the bell-knobby things (whatever you call them) of Notre Dame.

Yeah I definitely agree with that one! Another song that drives me insane is that Kate Nash song 'Foundations' - those 4 chords on loop do my head in as well as the stupid lyrics and her stupid voice.

Just when you thought that music had hit an all time low with her holy shiteness, Ms Lily Allen, along pops her royal holy shiteness, Ms Kate Nash!

Scouting For Girls - She's So Lovely - witless drivel.

Snow Patrols - Chasing Cars - witless drivel deluding itself it is deep.
