Oh God I bloody hate this version. Forget War Child, this is a crime against music.

I noticed the Glasgow crowd didn't boo an absentee award winner like the Londoners normally do
I think I heard them begin to boo Beyonce when she did her video link - but then thought better of it and started cheering!

Well I think that went well, congratulations 20 minutes down the road.

Although that's confetti's going to be a bugger to clean up.

LaToya's tribute to Michael was just cheap and tacky

Brilliant tribute by Shaheen and Diversity though. Well done lads!

Diversity were fantastic - couldn't take my eyes off them.

glad Trevor Nelson won Best DJ again ..

peed off that Beverley Knight didn't win best uk act

that said, the fact that JLS won 2 awards was just absurd. They've only been around for 5 minutes ..

they're nice enough blokes and have put out a decent first single, but 2 awards ? come on !

Voting started when they had their number 1, so they were just lucky to be that week's big thing.

The song is good though, so fair dos.

The only reason I'm watching is cos it's literally round the corner from me. SECC is one of the world's worst venues - it was built as a warehouse but after Tina Turner put on a gig in it in the 1980s, they decided to use it as that full time!! The sound is awful as is the seating arrangement. Doubt it will work well there.
It's certainly not the best venue in the world.

They are building a bigger, proper arena on the car park though, so hopefully things will improve.

I agree - the single was a decent song, but it just makes a mockery of it in a way - it's like saying the person coming in last is given the winner's medal.

It's actually a velodrome for the commenwealth games that they're building.
Was that a little ripple of booing for her not turning up?

Ah, she's not a patch on Taylor Swift...

Peter Andre's actually not bad at this presenting lark.
.......He was very good indeed - highlight of the evening for me along with Diversity. But the rest was a joke - I mean JLS winning 2 awards - they haven`t been around 5 minutes and they can`t even bother singing live

Don’t watch this crap but see in the paper chipmunk won best Hip Hop. Lol.

Not only could I name dozens of UK MC’s which are better but to see he beat Eminem to the award is just laughable.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

It's music of Black Origin, not an awards ceremony for only black people. If you'd watched you would have seen plenty of winners of various skin colours - yes, white people as well.

To be fair, I used to feel the same way but it coming to Glasgow has opened my eyes.

Now what was racist was that one moron who said the awards shouldn't have come to Glasgow because the city is too white.

The problem is the voting is done by the public. Therefore it was a foregone conclusion JLS would win those awards, since they have a big fanbase of teens who will vote tons for JLS to win...most of the other fanbases for the other artists will not have been as 'powerful' as the JLS fanbase. The only way for the awards to be fairer, to be honest, is with judges choosing the outcome. Otherwise it is just a popularity contest.

I don't see that it was a foregone conclusion, since Alexandra Burke beat them in The X Factor, which is also voted for by the public.

Wasnt one of JLS awards Best Newcomer? So not being around very long relates to that award. The other was Best Song and give credit where it is due it was a good song.

Yeah Kelly's performance was strange. I think she though she started singing to early and she looked confused. I've seen her perform this better in the past.
