Its a fairly static chart at the top isn't it, Miley and Jay Sean have been there for a few weeks too, and Jay Z is still floating around!
Just noticed Carrie Underwood has a new track too! I've been so busy it's totally passed me by, off to check it out now! |

Jay Sean will be no.1 next week 100% cos they are behind him on iTunes now and he will be past them on airplay! He could hold on for a few weeks, cos there is nothing else out big for ages...hence the severe lack of competition The good news for BEP fans is that Meet Me Halfway climbed from 75-47, and will be near the top spot in about 6 weeks

That's why i'm glad we don't have airplay included in our official chart. American radio sure knows how to murder songs. Anytime i'm there it's like the same 4 songs on rotation on all stations

Go BEP, if it was any other artist/band doing this, people would be creaming over it!

I think people keep buying it just to see how long they can last at #1. I'm glad "I Gotta Feeling" (which is quite a good song) has been at #1 longer than "Boom Boom Pow" (which is one of the worst songs of the year). I hope "I Gotta Feeling" gets knocked off by "Meet Me Halfway" (another really good song) and that stays at #1 for like, 12 weeks.

I could understand if it was some breathtaking amazing new style of song but it's just your average run of the mill autotune singalong, fun sure but nothing special.
