Best Ever Love Song
Your thoughts?
I'd have assumed 'I will always love you'. It's beautiful.

I would say it's 'When I Fall In Love' by Nat King Cole.
It's timeless and it doesn't use flowery language to get the point across. It's just beautiful, simple and says exactly what it wants to say. ![]() Although there would be massive competition from loads of other songs...and people will always disagree. I'd say that 'When I Fall In Love' is at least in the top five, if not the best. |

The Power of Love - Frankie goes to Hollywood. It is a little overblown though I guess.

As soon as i read the thread title, i instantly thought of I Will Always Love You. Definitely the ultimate one imho.
Other top love songs have to be: Des'ree - Kissing You (as someone else has mentioned - fantastic song) Lonestar - Amazed And in recent memory, i would add Umbrella and Halo to the list. |

I hate shmaltzy love songs. They're just so trite and vapid.
I prefer love songs when they go along the lines of something like "I'm not in Love" by 10cc. There's a few in that vein. I suppose you could call them alternative love songs or anti love songs. |
