True! This is the man that was forever telling Kate Garraway she was a good dancer!

Me too. Ian's tangos are amazing... but he's only done two! He needs to do more - and I love Jade and Ian together. Could be amazing.

If DS is in any way representative, I hope it is in terms of Jade and Ian, 'cause there's a fair few of us who like her, based on the polls.

If he can mange to get her under control - arms, legs, temperament, the lot!! - I think they have the potential to be absolutely explosive.

Looking forward to the paso, too. Fingers crossed.

They're getting there, I think. Her Viennese Waltz was really lovely. I think they're certainly the most interesting couple in terms of overall potential, and I'm hoping they can really blow us away soon (though I think the foxtrot will be a difficult one to do that with...).

Tuffers' training hours of 8.5 looked v. low when compared to most of the others. I really hope this is standard practice for him (haven't noticed on previous weeks) 'cos I really don't want him to go.

I felt a bit sorry for Craig tonight - he's trying so hard

It could be - but on the other hand if they get it right (well - if Jade does!) they cover so much ground together and their rise and fall could be sensational!

I'm an eternal optimist, you know!

Ian's Tangos are always great but a shame he's never done one since series 3.

Never sure about his Pasos really though

I fell asleep and missed ITT... It was so worth it.

Did I miss anything good?

Quite a funny show IMO.

Nice interview from Natalie, although her Jive has seen better days.
A quick look around Kristina's house.
Usual training updates which included Anton's "This is going to be one of the best dances ever!" and Erin's helpful advice on reminding us "The Rumba is a hard dance for Male Celebrities"
And a Zoe and James interview to finish it off, with a Samba that'd make a rumba look slow.

LOL! You can't have it both ways! How can she look miserable if she's loving something?

Out of all the couples left I feel it will be Jade and Ian who will pull something spectacular out of the bag and catch the public's eye. I want it to be Chris and Ola, but Jade is far more exotic looking and her and Ian make the most striking couple with their long limbs moving in flowing movements.

PS Got a bit poetic there - but you get the gist!

Positively lyrical, Buddy!

Was it on the red button in Scotland this week?

Or not shown at all?

Thanks! Hmm... Sad to miss Zoe, actually! Love her!

Oh gosh, wondering if Laila's dance will be "all that" now! :-/

Another top ITT

Found Zoe and James very, very dull (surprise surprise!) and their Samba doesn't look too promising, but then Zoe's always negative in the week and then gives perfectly adequate performances on the night. I never want to hear about them being in the dance-off again. It was a shock. They were gutted. We get it.

Natalie & Vincent gave a great interview, as always, but their Jive needs tidying up. Nat's not improving as quickly as I'd like. All her dances are a joy to watch, but the standard of them seems pretty even. I want to see her fixing the flaws that the judges point out to her.

I'm being very harsh tonight, but time's ticking. We still haven't had a really spectacular dance this series. They all need to raise their game this week.

Better show tonight for me than yesterday. I actually found myself missing Len's masterclass though. No offence to Kristina or her crib but that was definitely pointless filler.

The Ballroom group look stronger than the Latin group by quite a margin at the moment. I fear car crash moments for Chris (who seems to either be able to perform or remember his routine, but not both at the same time) and Ricky G (oh dear god, when has he had to act romantic???) while Zoe (why is it that James can't choreograph anything memorable while his wife can?) could be dull, and Natalie (the jive looks a bit lumpy) seems to have performance but lacking some technique. Ali I'm hopeful for. About the only one I am hopeful for Latin wise!

In comparison, Phil's the only one I'm concerned about in the Ballroom - I'm not sure if he'll be able to act the Tango well. Craig should do ok with Flavia leading (though I suspect his score will be nearer 14 than 40) and Jade and Laila look brilliant, and I'm really looking forward to those two dances. Ricky W always looks accomplished, I'm not sure what the guy has to do to endear himself to me, though - I know it's going to be good but I have a feeling I'll still be 'meh' about it after it's finished.

Maybe I just look a bit deeper than whats on the surface. If you read the looks on her face and her body language she just doesn't look comfortable or that happy a lot of the time.

It was mentioned near the start of this series that it would be a feature for Zoe.

That's a pretty patronising and unfriendly answer about something you've only seen for a few minutes at at time on TV. I do read body language too as I used to teach communication training. Maybe you see what want to see, maybe I do. Either way, you and I have had this conversation on another thread and neither of us have changed our opinions by the sound of things.

Yes, I remember them saying it was a "Grace Kelly" kind of theme, but they've obviously not done it once, so I didn't know how strictly they'd stick to it. Now, I expect her to always have one.

Ah right - so now we all vote for the choker.

I think I prefer Jade's flesh revealing outfit last week.

Sometimes chokers are worn to disguise scraggy necks.

Ooh....less than kind that

It was a fav of Princess Di - also reminiscent of Upstairs, Downstairs.....was that Edwardian?

I'm glad now that Zoe hasn't worn one every dance so we can see her neck isn't scraggy

I missed the start, but Zoe looked to be having her toughest task yet.

Natalie is giving it a go, but its so rough.

Katya I have a mountain of sympathy for. She is doing everything right, and it looks to me like Phil could do the Tango if he chose to, but he just isnt trying. She's 10 times the man he is, based on the training.

Chris - I dont understand why he has to count all the time. Most people connect the movements to the music, not numbers.

Ali - Gentle, sweet Paso Doble?

Laila again needs to look after herself. Let Anton rant on and just get on with learning the dance and how to perform it. The time to think about scores is after you finish the dance.

Ricky W and Jade both look good.

Flavia is trying to teach Craig the basics, which is essential. He's still so loose and floppy - I hope Flavia can get through to him and he can learn to firm up his body. Pity he didn't do Tai Chi instead of kickboxing.

I don't think it's patronising or unfriendly at all. It certainly wasn't my intention for it to come over like that. I was just honestly saying what I thought.

Kristina's crib.
That was so embarrassing. She should never get a job as a presenter. She seemed so awkward!
And I felt so sorry for her. What a crummy little flat.

Crummy cribs in London cost thousands per year.
