Ali and Brian are lovely Hope her foot is better, wonder what she's done to it!
i felt sorry for him when he was crying, i never knew him and James were good friends.
Looking forward to the VW.

I loved the vitamin V segment I like the partnership between him and Nat. Hope he hasn't pushed her too far with the Quickstep.

It was great to see Darren and Lilia (my fave pros) on the show, thought it was interesting to hear about the choreography, really enjoyed that segment.

Stats man was a bit annoying and cringeworthy though (liked the info about the dances and scores though)

I enjoyed tonight's ITT but I did feel a little awkward watching Ali and Brian as they seemed so upset to have been in the DO and that Zoe and James went. It was like they were in mourning and we were supposed to feel gulity for keeping in the lower marked celebs

I really enjoyed Lilia and Darren and Natalie and Vincent were awesome so I was glad the atmosphere picked up

I don't watch Eastenders and did not really know who she was until I saw her on "Who Do You Think You Are?" and she really impressed me as a person.

So I have watched her from week to week doing her utmost to learn and improve. She is my kind of celebrity dancer - a real trier, always cheerful, always wanting to improve and always wanting to entertain. I was so happy for her when she got her 30!

She is genuinely thrilled to be taking part and her enthusiasm is a pleasure to watch.

I thought Claudia was fairly quiet tonight and on Monday's ep. She seems pretty upset about Zoe & James' elimination. Hope she perks up tomorrow.

That's the whole idea!

As for the bruising - a dab of witchhazel or arnica cream and there would be little bruising left.

Is it uncharitable of me to wonder why, if she could dance her routine twice on Saturday, clearly in pain, she found it necessary to wear slippers to the studio 3 days later? Especially as earlier we saw her training on that painful foot.

I agree.

I just hope that Vincent hasn't overstretched her with the QS (particularly when the other pros are saying that he has).

I like Ali and Brian more every time I see them. And I know I am a softy but I melt when I see footage of him carrying her when she is in pain *swoons*..he is such a gentleman.

Natalie and Vincent were great too. She has so much enthusiasm. She may not be the best dancer but I love her personality. Loved when she said 'So see you Monday' to Claudia

Evening Star

I'm afraid I'm of the opposite opinion

I don't find Ali & Brian engaging at all. I found myself very bored during their interview.

What with Ali and her foot and Brian mourning the loss of his Strictly brother, it was all too sombre.

Hi Sid

I just can't resist a man who sweeps a woman off her feet I went all wibbly.

It was a more sombre show but actually it matched my mood as I was still a bit sad from Sat show. (I know I need to get a life). I am not sure I can face watching tomorrow when Craig is on, if he says anything about thinking he is a good dancer I will throw something at the TV

I was surprised by Ali and Brians interview tbh. I thought Brian would be full of 'american' positivity and brush it off and that Ali would be the one to go to pieces a bit.

Instead Brian showed us how gutted he was and Ali was more dismissive. A bit of a turn around that i thought was surprising and poignant and confirmed to me how likable they both are.

The more I see the repeats of Natalie's jive the less I am impressed. Several times she lost her balance and at times was putting more effort to her kicks with one leg than the other.

That was probably recorded prior to the injury.

It was all a bit like someone died, wasn't it? James lost a brother, Natalie lost a best friend...

It was a bit OTT from Brian & Natalie but that doesn't mean I didn't feel a bit sad for them.

Natalie was wearing boots training for the quickstep . They wear what is comfortable I presume

Agreed - but if she can train on the injured foot, why the need for slippers on ITT.

btw love your 'pets' thread.

Was it inspired by this post of yours, which had me in stitches.

I was surprise how being in the bottom two had affect Brian, but then again dancing is his whole life, and being away from home family and friends for six months is a huge commitment. Ali on the other hand is an actor so this is not her main profession,I would say she is slightly less invested in the show.

Enjoyed tonight's show, although I do think Brian could have looked a little more cheerful at having got through to dance at Blackpool.

I always love Choreograph Corner, but would like to see some of the other eliminated pros take a turn now that ITT seems to have dumped the midweek training analysis in favour of the "dresses" slot.

Natalie and Vincent were great fun as usual.

LOL! For me it was more a case of "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

Ali's foot did look quite bad. I'd say her foot will be sore for a good while yet and she'll be trying to train, but not do any more damage. She could be spraying her foot to relieve the pain too, so she can train. It's quite likely she can't get her foot in any 'normal shoes' at the moment and will wear soft slippers to help with the healing. I couldn't get over how quiet Brian was tonight. He was clearly upset about the whole thing. I hope his honesty doesn't backfire on him. I can imagine their VW being quite magical.

Darren and Lilia were great on CC tonight (Darren was much better than last week! *ducks* ) and I love Lilia's eye make up too.

I so agree and Natalie and Vincent were just a delight! I hope though that Vincent isn't over choreographing their routine - one slip and that could be it for them. I loved Nat's comment "Therefore, cya Monday" I so agree about he lovely she looks on ITT and I came across this photo today that shows Natalie along side Laila, Lynda and Zoe. So why does Wardrobe have such a hard time dressing her well???

I loved Claudia's leg warmers comment too! Another 10/10 for me tonight!

She didn't have slippers on in the studio

They showed a clip of her training in slippers but she was wearing flip flops while talking to Claudia.

Seems to gel with it being still swollen and painful and wearing whatever footwear is necessary to not put unnecessary pressure on it.

As in previous series I think the wardrobe people just have no idea how to dress someone who doesn't have a perfect figure.
