Definately, one of my colleagues who is as obsessed as I am doesnt like some of my faves but we sit there merrily debating the show till the cows come home!

I think it was me who did that and I want to apologise as it really wasnt meant in a nasty way. I was trying to lighten things up as your initial post was quite abrupt and you seemed very peed off and I wanted to try and get involved in the banter that as a Ricky W fan, Ive been excluded from on here.

So Im sorry if it offended you, that was not my intention and just again highlights the problem with the written word. My smiley face and 'yay' at the end highlighted that it was all meant in a light hearted jest-y way.

Very true - but can you imagine DS with a voice clip facility?

Yay, thats good. I hate how things can be misconstrued on here sometimes and would prefer if we could all get along all the time (Naive but I cant help it!)

PS. I love Ali too and deafened my hubby when she got the 40 last week. Her arms and her lines are so beautiful they make me want to cry!

I think we may be alone drbol , many dont take to her ,I find her so elegant and beautifull and was almost in tears too .

The smileys just dont make up for facial expression which is why it can all go wrong on here sometimes.

Happy days. Peace & goodwill to all. I love Fridays - all the excitement and anticipation for the main event.

Thought Miranda was great - has the makings of a superfan(she mentioned she loved Strictly on Simon Mayo's TV review on 5Live) & really enjoyed her new sitcom on Monday - lol, old fashioned and funny in a Dads Army type of way.

Usually does the trick ABBA

Gosh I'm so happy we get another fix of Claudia tomorrow night - she's going to be wonderful!

It was much better than I anticipated. Very funny indeed!

She can appear on ITT as often as she likes

If it makes you feel better I "think" she's my Mum's fave as well. She won't come right out and say it because she knows I love Ricky. I think it's a Mum thing; why she just won't come out and say she prefers Ali only she knows. I think it could be that for the first time since Colin, I've been really enthusiastic about a dancer (I was out for two Saturdays, and she had to text me his scores and whether or not he was safe.)

What an image that song title conjures up!

Drop the "K" and you've got a Moody Blues classic, with vocals by the only man whose singing voice I would literally give my left arm to have, Justin Hayward.

You are not alone.

I love Ali & Brian. (I also like Ricky & Natalie. )

Aaargh, so many new posts!

Hope this hasn't been mentioned already. I thought Claudia did a fine job of covering her tummy, except right at the beginning of the show and again at the end when she was with Chris, watching R&E from the top of the steps.

There's definitely a bump there.

Its lovely to have a favourite and to see them stay in , but then when they go its hard . I adored Mathew and Alesha as dancers and that was a real bonus to se ethem win .

I hated seeing Rachel not win at the time

You're not alone. Ali has the best lines of anyone i've ever seen on the show before and the VW made me cry too it was so beautiful. She continues to place top on the favourites poll on here so there are plenty of people who love her and Brian.

Different personality types appeal to different people but I'm always amazed at how few people acknowledge that.

This main board is getting more and more spiteful as the competition goes along and the personal insults are annoying now to the point its not worth defending your favourite unless its an obvious error thats being spouted thats hard to ignore (like saying Ali went to the ITT interview 3 days after the paso with her slippers on when she didn't).

I tend to just stay on the AT where at least people are reasonable about likes and dislikes.

Not wanting to be difficult , but why wouldn't she , or any of them , want higher marks each week .?

And don't forget , each of them is edited to present a particular view of their personality.

I admire Ricky's dancing , but I can't say the persona promoted of him on SCD is appealing .

And I do think he should not have had over 30 for that tango;far too many mistakes . I have never seen anyone , in 7 series get such high scores for such a fault riddled routine .

*Laura* has it right when she says

A song to send shivers down your spine when sung by JH
