I think Chris and Ola have done the most at 27. I think Claudia said he'd done the most to the salsa dancers as well - could be wrong.

Just reading back through the last few posts, I agree that the segment of Ali going off for a "moment alone" was a bit odd. Don't think she'll have a problem on Saturday though, the Salsa pros were raving about her earlier in the week.

As for the "looking sexy" she's done plenty of bikini photoshoots and "Girls of Hollyoaks" calendars and so on wearing next to nothing, I don't think it'll be an issue. There's a VT of her at the beginning of series as well saying the revealing costumes won't be an issue for her as she's used to it.

The cameras probably just caught her having a stressed few minutes and they decided to use it. Despite other posters saying her and Brian are hamming it up for the paps outside the training room (which I personally don't believe), I can't help thinking all the rumours flying around about them are helping her concentration much.

I recalled last year the very bland Rachel was 'having a moment' due to stress and suddenly people were up in arms saying 'smug', 'spoilt girl' etc.

Yes, poor Rachel came in for a lot of unjustified criticism and she was so good and hard working.

I imagine it is quite normal to want to take a bit of time out, in fact it must be very good for the dancers to be able to do that so they can return refreshed.

I do like Ali and Brian very much.

I would love to see Len Goodman teach a whole dance to Claudia and for them to perform it... perhaps on Children in Need?

The children would be grown-ups by then.

I like Zoe and James, while I enjoy watching Ricky W/Natalie and Ali /Brian I can't take to them at all, I felt the same about Rachel last year. I also think Craig and Flavia are mismatched although I do like them both. I think it could be Craig saying ta,ta on saturday.

I can see why people are taking a dislike to Ricky W and Ali, but I'm looking forward to Ricky W and Ali's dances because I want to see something awesome on Saturday, if anything, and they both looked great in training. I hope they both live up to it

Not looking forward to Joe and Kristina at all. Joe still looks terrible, and from their training footage it looks like they're both know it and are both frustrated by it. I feel kind of sorry for them...

Disappointed that Laila and Anton aren't going to be on the show tomorrow. Think it would have done them some good, and also can't help thinking poor they're at a disatvantage now.

Do you mean tonight - not tomorrow's show?! Has this been announced when I was at the garden centre?

I really think that the BBC needs to deal with the 'Anton' situation on ITT tonight, otherwise it could be very difficult tomorrow, especially if Bruce makes an ill advised comment.

I think everybody will have been told the subject should not be mentioned on tomorrow's show.

Apart from what Claudia said at the end of the show last night, do we know any more about tonight's show?

Are Laila and Anton not appearing on ITT tonight then?

What a shame.

I think it would have been an ideal opportunity for them to draw a line under all this by making a statement together on the show.

They've had minimal coverage on ITT as it is. I think they're the only couple whose first meeting we haven't seen.

Anton and Laila should appear on ITT tonight. The record needs to be set straight. Pretending that it hasn't happened is just a stupid tactic of the BBC. Sort it tonight and save the embarrassment of old Brucie wading in (again) as he no doubt will do on live tv whilst everyone else will be dancing around the big white elephant in the room.

I'm not bothered if they do or they don't, but either way it would be an exaggeration to say the BBC have pretended that it hasn't happened. I can think of at least three public statments on the issue from them off the top of my head, not counting the recent Bruce interview.

I think it should be left.
It was ridiculous that it made it's way onto Newsnight and Question Time last night.

Oooh I saw that!

I did sort of cheer when the Lib Dem representative said she'd wish Brucie would just 'shut up!'

Him wading in really hasn't helped matters.

Off topic for a second, Ian Hislop was terrific! He should appear more often.

Sorry, I wasn't around for last night's show, always seem to miss it on Thursday for some reason .

Great show as per usual, and most of their training look quite good. I enjoyed Phil's interview too and he seemed to be coping quite well .

The stat's man on the other hand "is starting to get on my wick" . His need to put the average per couple instead of the high score really annoys me at it puts their score down a lot, as if they don't want to show how many 40s there have been. Rachel's Foxtrot is the only dance that scored 40 the first time round, and not just in the final. Even worse, when they get round to the jives, Jill's score will be 37.5 . That means it's only 0.5 more than Gethin's. tut tut .

I hope they either mention the subject on purpose and settle it thoroughly, or ingore it entirely. The worse case would be if they brought it up through an unthought through comment and it was all a bit confusing and difficult for them to pass over it.

Have to disagree with your Ian Hislop comment. He's turned into a mini tory

I know he's a satirst, but he's too dry for me in QS, and I can't really take him seriously, him being a one-time pop singer and always mocking others in HIGNFY.
